I wanted to ask this because it seems there has been no word weither Hyrule Magic has been discontinued or well on extended Ice seeing that the editor has not been getting much attention lately, I need to know if there will be other version that could likely be released soon?

Hyrule Magic as far as I know has no planned updates unless Seph3 somehow regains interest in the program. I'm in the preliminary stages of designing a supplemental editor, however. Mainly things that deal with copying from one rom to another, and expanding the existing data structures.

I personally use MathOnNapkins utilities on DP, and they are very helpful. If you hack Zelda 3, look for them.

I assume these utilities aren't public yet, as I can't see them on Math's site, but maybe they are?
I would be very interested in adding gfx banks for overworld (might be done since there's quite some GFX sets that are mirrors of others...); I'll try to figure out how for now.
However I just found your Variable Listings doc, which will be very useful (I also just found they already were in SePH's HM perfect guide )

Based on what I know, Seph3 has no plans to work on HM anymore... not sure what to tell you beyond that :/

Yeah I sort of found them there one day too.... What SePH did was collect a bunch of pages from Acmlm's Board and Tek and just tried to compile it into a cohesive document, as far as the later parts of the guide go. That must have been before the old Tek Acmlmboard went down, b/c I only posted about it there.

As far as the variable listings go, it's been massively updated since then, with a much more refined grasp of the sprite model and the SRAM has been mapped out much more accurately. Thanks for reminding me. I think I'm ready to add a new version of that document to the site now.

Well the reason I also made this because I am not sure if this was possible, but using some of the colors used in the overworld,

and the example I mean by that is that while searching I found a code on the PAR code 7E00130F which disbles the blackout when going from the over world to the Dungens transistion, but I have been trying to find those colors from the overworld to use in the Dungens, but I found no color that would be similar to that,

so I was hoping if there was also any other Game Genie or PAR codes that would use the same color and not change it?

Eh.... palettes are palettes

I've read your post both in this thread and the dead thread you made about porting colors from OW to Dungeons.

I still have no idea what you're talking about specifically. If you find the proper palette for whatever it is you want to edit, there's DEFINITELY a way to change it... even with a PAR code.

Well the problem is that in Hyrule Magic due to memery constraints can not allowed addional palettes to be used in the game and so far I am trying to get the OV palette to stay the same color in the Dungeons, but there is no way of how to do it,

Although there was some Game Genie Code(before about.com cleaned the video game section and it's cheat codes with it) that after the code is entered, the Color would stay the same throught out the game, and that is pretty much what I am talking about.

If the code you're looking for was at about.com, have your tried seeking the codes on the internet archive?
