Well, I never really imagined myself making a serious layout, but I had some time this evening (more like I didn't feel like going to bed right away, so I thought I'd toy around). This is just a work in progress, I suppose, but I was bored.  ~The Nuke Brazil Now! button is borrowed from blackhole89, and is hosted on my ImageShack account (I'm not leeching off his bandwidth for his photobucket). The AIM icon was shamelessly stolen from Proboards and is hosted up on my ImageShack account. Special thanks to YoshiDude for some critiques. I know it's really basic and simple, I've got some ideas for later on, it looks really good with the theme I use for the board (Circuit), and best with 1024 x 768 resolution (it's not bad in mine though, which is higher). Some future plans include more buttons and some other improvements, and likely some sort of background for the first layer as opposed to just the color. Does anyone notice any errors I should be aware and fix? It seems fine to me. Edit: I changed the second div layer's font size to 12px instead of 10px, the other may have been too small for many readers. Edit 2: I reduced the border around Nuke Brazil Now! to 0. I know you said your not done, so...  Looking at it some more, the only "problem" I see is the wasted space on the right side. Not sure what, but... something... should be there. That, or center the textbox that contains your post... |

| I'm contemplating something but I'm not sure what. I may put an image there to take up the room. There's a variable amount of space depending on your resolution, so it looks a little more severe in mine (1280 x 1024) than it does in the average user (I assume that's 1024 x 768). I'll put something there, just not sure what yet D: | |||

| Yeah, I use 1280x1024 myself. You could almost fit your entire textbox in there a 2nd time. xD You could always put various buttons and/or stats (a-la Acmlm's layout) over there. Or maybe use a php script that displays a random image, like I use for my avatar. Or you could use the tired old status.php thinger... *rolls eyes* |

Interesting redesign. However, your links in your sig don't line up exactly. The last link looks like this: Gallery My suggestion is to just put everything after Send E-mail on a seperate line. That, or expand the table the contains your post text enough that the word Gallery will fit on the first line. Still, overall, very nice! |
