This question is more than likely go unanswered because it has been asked and answered a thousand times, but since I got nothing else to do today................One way I do it is by extracting your non joined gfx, copy and paste one file in the exgfx folder and name it exgfx100 or whatever number you want. Then save a state on the zsnes of whatever background you trying to get, and open it up in yy-chr copy and paste the gfx in the save state into an exgfx file you created. Then insert them into your game. Click the poison Mushroom and change BG into your gfx number you created. Then use the 16*16 editor, find an empty page and serch for your graphics by changing he numbers into where your gfx is, But in this way you'll have to color them yourself. There are plenty of other easier (and better) methods if you search the SMW hacking forum, including Bio's notes on ripping, the EXgraphics Workshop, Peter-ac's open gfx hacks, and the Mk-16 thingy. I also notice that you asked this question before. If no one replied to the first question, I don't belive you should ask it again, because you might just get flammed if you ask or stick this question in a thread again. I think I messed up I think its a snapshot not save state, either way check where your emulator is, they should be there after you press the save state or snapshot button. Check both of then with yy-chr and see which one shows the GFX correctly.I'd pefer you try the other methods I posted above. (edited by Link2004 on 09-15-05 03:43 PM) |

It is a Save State, and the Save States are stored in whatever folder of the ROM the Save State is in. |
