Pfah, just closing the other topic as if everything is clear now... anyway... [Quote]Spade, there is not a readme indeed. Yoro was half right. The data is there, and can be found. It just hasn't been found. What's found has it's location listed in the file "PokéRoms.ini".[\Quote] What do I have to change in there to make it work right? Edit: No quote function here? Geez... |

You gotta find the location of the data and put it in. What I tend to do is look for similar data. Cries, for example, can be found easily: they're the same in all games. Only their base location differs. Originally posted by SpadeYes there is one. But it's not BBCode. |

OK, maybe I should specify it more... At "Sounds it says: &H452580 I have no idea what to think about this... "thing". I'm quite new at this hacking stuff and I have fun with looking at how the game was built. |

Simply put, you have your big bad rom, and the pokémon cries are said to be at &H452580. That means that the data is found at the 4531585th byte in the rom file. But there are better places to learn this stuff. Try a googlesearch for "Art of Romhacking" (sp?) and you'll find the basics. |
