Okay.. I've modded my layout a bit since I was last on here.. I want comments/suggestions. (Note: This is a scroller. ) Also, Tell me if I used too many images.

Scrolling Done.

Is this layout too large or anything? Let me know.

Aside from the fact it's really big, it's pretty good. At least people won't have to worry about scrolling if you don't post too much.

you could get rid of the scrollers. The size is bearable but could be shrinked a little . Other than those issues it's fine.

I have no problem with scrolling layouts. Most people bitch about them because it's trendy to do. Most of the people here are mindless zombies.

And you can't read anything in your sig. The text should be darker. Try using #808080 for the sig text color.

Scrolling layouts should be outlawed... other than that, I like the background.

Certainly not the worst scrollbar layout, because it would take a lot of writing to make it scroll. Simple enough, neat.. it's nice.

Oh good, I have another scrolling brother out there.
I really like it, Snort.
The background image is really cool.

Your quotes suffer from the same problem that your sig had: Text color is too light. The same color you used for the text in your sig should work fine for your quotes as well.

Other than that, it's a very nice layout. Very well done!

I am guessing that you are using Internet Explorer, right? If so, I use transparent PNG images in the background and it just doesn't look right in IE. However, I did change the text color like you suggested. :p

IE handles transparent PNG files just fine. What it can't handle are .PNG files with alpha-transparencies.

I'm using Maxthon, which is based on the IE core. The devs are trying to fix the various problems with IE that MS ignores, as well as adding in features MS ignores, like tabbed browsing.

I wasn't sure if they'd added support for alpha-transparencies in PNGs, but I guess they haven't yet. Of course, I am using an older version... *shrugs*

Exactly what I use.. It's alpha transparency in which you can see a color, yet see the background through it. :p

EDIT: I downloaded your browser you talked about. Here's a side-by-side difference of what it looks like between your browser and my browser.

Yeah, I didn't think Maxthon supported alpha-transparent PNG files. Now we know for a fact it doesn't.

Personally, I like the way your quotes look in the IE engine. They don't look right to me with the BG coming through like that. Maybe if there was less transparency... 'Cause in that screen, it looks like your quote just has a border around it, and no BG.

The sig looks fine, except where the text is, since it too uses that alpha-transparent image.

Oh well. As long as you're happy with it, and it's readable, right?

BTW: Nice Windows skin. *steals*

My biggest complaint with scrolling layouts are those that do not provide anywhere near enough space in order to read what people are writing, consider SamuraiX's when he quotes someone, it's horrendous jumbled to try and read.

The signature was made to deliberately annoy people. There's really nothing there to scroll down and look at if you've seen it once. ;o

I'm re-doing it to be even better as part of a possible series of annoying layouts.
