| I couldn't even log in to anything requiring a password and user name (not real name) from school computers, and that includes during computer-related classes. They think it's a security risk. The hell..? |

My school probably knows I'm doing this, just doesn't care  ...Its creepy. Anyways, that sucks, we only can't go to "main stream" sites such as Yahoo... Funny story though, a kid in elementary school entered a search into Google Images and it came back with porn, now we (at the high school) can't use Google Images anymore... |

| Ha... my teacher found out today that half the class wasn't paying attention and did care, awesome. It really sucks though, soon there isn't going to be access to this internet when the "Internet 2" comes out. Supposed to be education only or something stupid like that. |

I could log in here during tutorials at my school, but not all classes have computers with internet access. Only one of my teachers did in her room last year. So if I went there for tutorial and was able to grab a computer, I could come here and post.  But.. that's about it. |

| My goal is to post from my school within the next 3 years... Seriously though, whenever Im around the computer, theres always either a teacher RIGHT behind me, or a whiny tattletale right next to me... And of course, rule #1 on any list is "NO IM PROGRAMS OR MESSAGE BOARDS OR EMAIL(Unless for school purposes)" So, yeah... comp security is REALLY tight   |

| Pfft, no it wouldn't. They'd see a video game reference and suspend you for a week or two. And every school has that rule. Just some schools/teachers enforce their policies better than others. For the most part nobody at my school cares what you do on the computers, but try to use the ones in the library...  That librarian is a total computer nazi. She's secretly installed spy programs on all the computers (well not very secretly; whenever she restarts it the logo appears on all the screens) and loves to just stand behind people and stare at the screen for no reason. And if you're using a program she doesn't recognize (like NOTEPAD  ) it's a hacker tool.(edited by HyperHacker on 09-11-05 01:00 PM) |
