This is basically the plot for my 2nd hack of FF1, Ancients Cry, which WILL be finished by November 1st. This is basically an overview of the plot and locaitons, so reading this will spoil the game, obviously If any thing sounds cheesy, cliched, or cool, let me know, before I start on the dialog. Thanks in advance.

Aslo, as a note, I was using this poersonally, so expect typos and a few things... not so clear, shall we say.

Prolouge~ A World in Need

Start in world of Jugdral, on the continent of Augustria. Village you start below is Chalphy. Castle north of that is Jungby, home to King Vylon and the Lauzen Ritter. Find out Princess Lachesis has been taken hostage by bandits wanting to trade her off with the opposing Empire of Verdane. Head southwest into the Mishkal range and into a cave, where stolen goods and the Princess lie. Once you talk to the ptincess, you find she isn't really her, and gaurds ambush you and take you back to Jungby for execution.

____________________________________________________________________

Chapter 1~ A Plea for Help

Once you awaken in a jail cell, you find a hidden path in the upper-right corner of the room, leading to the sewers below the castle. Random battles do occur. As you head south, you'll come up to the real princess Lachesis, who informs you that Verdane has already tooken over Jungby and is secretely killing off any opposition within Agustria.

She also says King Vylon has been killed and tells you to go to Velthomer for reinforcments Velthomer is in the south-eastern corner of the world). She gives you the Fire Emblem, as to show you're still affiliated with Jungby through the princess herself.

Lachesis's Nanny, Eva, also wants to help, but won't let you pass until you move through the sewers to find her a spell book which will stop Verdane from chasing you (for now). Once you find this, she goes off to cast the spell, allowing you to leave. This is the last time you'll ever see Jungby again.

~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
You may stop by Chalphy again to find the villagers getting ready to retreat. Some kids talk about a gaint frog in the Manster Range to the south; you'll be heading there next. Towards the norhter, in random battles, Verdane troops (through Jungby) are going to be fighting you.
Once in the Manster Range, you'll find yourself fallen and can't find a way back. A sign telling you to head left is nearby,which leads to Barhara (sout-west of Jungby). You then (hopefully) head left and fall apon Freege, small town of Barhara, an influencial war-monger state of pwer. After besting their Leader, Lord Glade, you are told that in the Manster Range (where you fell), the other direction leads to an abandoned fort they used when they where in conflict with Velthomer years ago. You then can either head towards the town of Freege, where gossip of the war and trade abound, or head towards Fort Yied in the Manster Range.
~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~

AS you head through the path, you find yourself at yet another cross section. North is an old Castle once known as Amid. This place contains rahter formidable monsters at the time, as to scare players away from areas they are not supposed to be in at the time.

As the player leaves from the east, they find themselves in a secluded area of Manster and see the fort. Nothing should be here, but a man looking for some artifact back in the ruins is here. You go back and get it ( a ledger of hidden supply routes used by Jungby) and give it to him, he syas how if Ashnard learns that he had someone else do his dirty work that both of them would be hanged. So he attempts to kill you, but you kill hte Verdane spy instead. You find a Locket on him and take it.

~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
Now unless the player skipped the first two parts (which is entirly acceptable), s/he should find themselves at an airship at port. This is what Lord Glade was giving/talking you/about.
Chapter 2 ~ Sluef : The Riverside Town
You head south, glancing past a large tower. AS you continue south, you find a long bridge blokcing your path, yet also find another dock on the left. This leads you through a small desert. AS you near the end of the desert, you find a small cave. At the bottom (2floors total) of teh cave, you find a man (Rado) whose had his locket swiped for not giving up information.
Once you give him back his locket, you recieve his thanks. He notices you're heading for Velthomer, so he gives you a package to take to King Azmur himself. Once you leave, you find yourself heading either left or right: left leads to the Spirit Forest, while right leads to the Riverside Town of Sluef. You'll be heading here next.
Here, you hear talk of Ashnard's reach and how his invasion has reached full force.
You then continue east, across the Great Bridge and into Isaac.
____________________________________________________________________
Chapter 3 ~ A Resistance is Formed
As you continue, you find yourself in Isaac's deep forests and rich rivers. Further on, you come across Edda, a town just south of Darna, capitol of Isaac.
The town is full of soldiers and citizensd alike, supporting the Liberation's efforts to take down Verdane.
When you enter Darna, the shear amount of soldiers is fathomable. Many are on guard; even more inside and on duty.
Now, not only do you deliver the package you just retrieved from the man in Rado's Cave, you also show the Fire Emblem. King Azmur then appoints you to find the Holy Crusader's weapons. Unfortunatley, most were either lost during the Great War, or are in possesion of Verdane. There are, however, atleast four that the King knows of: one in a Dark Sect missionary in the bogs of Agustria, one in Nodion just east of the Spirit Forest, one in Heirhien of the Miletos District, just north of Agustria, and another in a cave just north of Darna: Thove. These artifacts will help greatly in the Liberation's attempt to take down Verdane and it's ruling fist.
From now on, the Great Hall of Darna will tell you where to go next after you recieve each weapon.
The King says you may tackle these in any order, but it would be best to take on the Dark Sect first. Pack your things and head back home: You're going to make your first move as a Liberator!
____________________________________________________________________
Chapter 4 ~ The Dark Lord Loptousu
NOTE: Need to have King {0F} activated (prefferably in Dwarf {14}) before event :/
AS you reach the bog, you find a few graves just south. Once you reach the small canyon, you find yourself in a graveyard. You continue only to find the massive church. Once you enter, you find yourself in a rather large foyer with few distractions. Towards the front of the room is an aclove with a small stair case leading into the cellers. It is here where you'll find your first Holy weapon, as well as a Dark Bishop: Manfroy.
Once you're finished here, head back to Darna to recieve fresh orders and a warm meal. Dealing with both the undead and the Dark Sect is a bit unruling, wouldn't you agree
Once you arive, you're told of how Verdane has given the Holy Falaflame to their chief Mage Knight, Alvis. To comabt this, the Council recommends you should head even farhter north this time. To the Miletos District.
____________________________________________________________________
Chapter 5 ~ The Village of Lubeck and the Temple of Heirhein
Once you cross a small bridge north of the bog, you'll find yourself in the Miletos District, where a large amount of game and agriculture is stemmed. Lubeck is found north of the Sallane Ridge. The villagers here are modest at best: nothing really here, except for a few spells and armor. Now to the right near Evans River, you'll come across Heirhein, a shrine to the 12 Crusaders built during the Great War. It seems, however, that a local group of bandits have not only taken this temple, but also most of Miletos itself! It would appear that Verdane had a hand in this, so be sure to pay them back.
As you navigate hte ruins, you'll finally arrive at the Prayer Room. Through these sacred doors, you find yourself face to face with the bandit leader Magone, General Langobalt of Verdane, and some... thing brought about by the Dark Sect. Unfortunately, Langobalt is wielding hte Holy weapon you've come after, so this is going to be tough.
Once you've finished though, you'll come across both the Holy Weapon and a letter addressed to Celice, one of Ashnard's most trusted soldiers. Verdane is after the Holy weapon of Nodion! Quickly, head towards Darna for reinforcements!
____________________________________________________________________
Chapter 6 ~ A Dangerous Game
The Council is pressed for time, yet there isn't enough time for thoughts. After a few minuets, by unanimous vote you are declared ready for Thove. It's in Issac, but has not been found by any search party. There are rumors though of a den hidden deep in the Ganeshire Forest.
~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~

After much searching, you come across what looks like an old tree in which a tunnel has either naturally formed from or artificially created. Which ever way, there's a path leading underground, and a Holy Artifact to be recovered. Hurry!

When you reach the deepest corner of the cavern, you'll find yourself face-to-face with Duke Reptor of Jungby. Apparebtly, he was a spy for Verdane, and is now a full fledged General. This
Baron is of the Holy Crusader Tordo's descent, so expect to be raptured by ThorHammer, his inherited weapon of choice.

After you defeat him, you retrieve the weapon from the back, ThorHammer (which only the Council can effectivly use. So sorry)., and yet another note to Verdane. This time, it's about the spies moving in Darna. This information in vital. You must hurry!

____________________________________________________________________

Chapter 7 ~ Verdane's Hand Well Played

The Council has been hearing rumors of spies, and has already investigated. They found that a number of spies are readying their force in the Spirit Forest, but will lose heart if their commander in Nodion is killed. The only problem with this plan is that The False Knight Celice, who bends his knee to no man, not even Ashnard himself, is placed at Nodion. With his leadership, not only would Verdane's defenses be well established this far out, but also the troops themselves would be happy to walk to their deaths under his judgement. After all, The False Knight Celice was one of the leading politcal figure not only of hte war, but of the invasion itself. He was the one who was able to infiltrate Augustria's capitol and take Jungby down himself! Prepare, for this will be a fight like none other than before...

~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
As you pass through the Spirit Forest, you are bombarded by Celice's Forrest Knight Devision, or the Grauen Ritter. As you move through and finally into Nodion, you come face to face with the Beigen Ritter. These are Verdane's most apt pupils of war and have been placed here with utmost care. Verdane has poured hordes of troops into this temple to gain a foothold in this territory. This is a vital psotion and all of the Liberation's efforts, the WORLD'S efforts set on this one last siege. Take them down!
Once you reach the crypt of Hezul, Celice will confront you,Ragnell in hand. It would appear that Verdane not only has a majority of the Holy Weapons, but are also deploying them! This is going to be a tough battle, so be prepared.
~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~

Celice feels that he has spent enough time in Nodion. He retreats by a small airship towards the east. Towards Darna. There's no way in hell He could survive an assualt by the entire Liberation army alone. What is he planning?

Yet again, another letter addressed to King Ashnard. It mentions that a large amount of troops have been sent under Celice's orders to "Regast," where ever that is. Apparently, Celice was to lead an assualt there and take rule, preparing a host for the Verdane Empire. King Ashnard endorsed this plan from the start, and gave his word that all of Verdane is behind him, and his efforts for world peace. Quite an interesting piece of information, if I do say so myself...

____________________________________________________________________

Chapter 8 ~ An Empire's Fall

You return to Darna, only to find them in uproar. Barhara has been stockpiling warfunds and troops, and has now begun it's fight against Verdane, after playing ally since the start of your adventure. After both kingdoms meet and establish a firm relationship, they begin their assualt.

Darna has given it much thought, and the Council has declared a full-scale war against Verdane. With the finding of the letter in Nodion, you learned of how most of Verdane's troops were either stationed at Nodion or at this "Regast." They feel now is the time to strike back against the Empire and ragin control of their country and kin. May the Tower of Blagi bestow miricles unto you, for the Council has decided to have you lead the heart of the attack. With this, you recieve the secret weapon the Liberation has been working on through Barhara's work. You recieve a Tank and can now cross Verdane's harsh deserts with ease! Launch the attack and take back what's rightfully your's (In theory their's, but who cares >.>).

Once you reach Verdane from the North of Agustria, you find yourself crossing the Rivough Desert. Here is where a bulk of enemy cavalry are hiding. This is where you'll take hard hits to both your health and morale.

Once you reach the heart of Verdane, you'll find yourself in the Desert of Sophara and in the Zaxon Range. Towards the south is Phinora, a deserted and crippled town. As you enter the Zaxon Range, you'll come across Alster, a small mountain village. Here are children waiting to be sacrificed to the Dark Lord Loptousu. As you continue, you'll come across Verdane, source of all the problems thus far. But the fortress is not only heavily fortied, but also protected by the most repected soldiers around: the Grunen Ritter. The only group of soldiers even capable of withstanding their attacks are the 12 cursaders themselves.

You'll ahve to infiltrate Verdane's long-held impenetreble walls and take down the Empire.

~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
You'll come into view of Emperor Ashnard himself, with both the Gulgrant and the Varg Katti in tow. He's taken this battle to his last breath and is ready to defend his legacy. This is it. The last battle!
~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~

Ashnard is dead, yet a sudden wave of troops have invaded Barhara. Nowhere is safe, not even Darna. You recieve word that a warship, the Silvana, is docked near the Great Bridge, readying their troops to vanquish the Liberation Army. Jump back into your airship to take down the battleship!

____________________________________________________________________

Chapter 9 ~ Last Hope: Silvana

You land on this massive ship, fighting hordes of specialized troops. This was going to be the fall of the Liberation Amry, and so it shall be yours.

Around the 5th floor or so, you come to a split path, each leading a different path. Small differences abound, but most things are unchanged.

~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
When you've reached the bottom of the vessal and gone through the final door, you'll find The False Kngiht Celice waiting for you, the Holy Tyrfing in tow. Now or never: this is the end of the Verdane remnants.
~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~

At the fall of Celice, he dissapears, only to leave a path leading to a small, jagged hole at the end of the ship. An escape, I'm sure

____________________________________________________________________

Chapter 10 ~ Tower of Blagi

Despite appearences, the Tower of Blagi is actually a giant plant. The clouds seemslessly add texture to the tower and give it it's light-blueish hue.

As you travel down, you'll find a number of resemblences to the Great Tower in my previous hack. Actually, it's more than just references :ph43r:

Final ~ Ambitions Finally Realized; A Ploy in the Dark

What's this? You've stumbled upon what seems to be another world!? How is this possible? There must be something... majestic going on, surely!
