No, we can't have that. You must be nice, otherwise this place is even less fun. So please, for the children, keep being nice?

No! Screw you!

Seriously, I need to learn to be a touch less nice all the time, so as that I'm not such a pushover I get walked over a bit and I'm often told it's that I'm just too nice and it's just so easy for everybody to walk over me.

Course, I won't be a bitch all the time either, just when it's necessary

God damn Tarale, that's good progress. Dunno if it's SAFE to lose that much in that little time, but it should be doable in a few months.

Unofficially, I did get a full-time job and determined that I can't afford to move out yet, so that's one down, one excused.

I'm not sure how it could be *unsafe* though either, it's not like I'm doing anything extreme to lose the weight. I haven't crash dieted, or gone onto an extreme exercise plan or starved myself or anything.

Just making a conscious effort to eat less...well... crap and do more... stuff. Like get off the bus one stop early and walk that little bit further each day, or do some housework and such.

Oh, and drinking PLENTY of water.

But then, as I mentioned in the New Years Resolution original thread, I've recently come off some medication that caused me to gain weight, so maybe it's evil effects are finally wearing off too

I never make New Years resolution out of my fear for never completing them, heh. Although this year I did want to get some things done and I've gone so far with the little I have.

I am proud so far of my life, but I am always wishing to improve. Perhaps next year I will make some resolutions :]

Mine was to take better care of my health

Well, I haven't been doing to much in that direction, except for taking these Omega-3 pills. Hmm, well, I've tried to eat slightly more fish, and salad, fruit and vegetables too. But it's still not all that much. I don't exercise like I was thinking that I should. Maybe that will come next year..

I should do that. I was wondering how diet pills worked but then I was watching Celebrity Fit Club and one of the guys on the panel said it was a no no and that it could kill you. Then I found out my mom was taking them and then I told her and she stopped. The less eating part I will do and with the water. I need to improve my eating habits which have gotten better with less soda in my diet.

When I stopped drinking soda over a four month period, I lost around 20 lbs or so. But that was in combination with a general overall change to a better diet change, here over the past few months that I've come out of a time when I could eat little more than rice without getting sick, I've noticed I've regained all that wait previously, and now I find myself drinking soda again. But I know that if I cut back on at least the soda, the weight will go down (as it has in the past two weeks or so). I'm not sure what it is about soda, but it really can be a hassle for those trying to lose weight.

I set a resolution to stop drinking as much as I do.

...A month ago, I got compltely stoned/wasted with mates at a party and fell off a bridge. ow. lol. it was fun.

But I am acheiving my resolution of getting a crazy haircut! shoulderlength all round, going to layer it like fuck and dye it black with luminous blue streaks. hell yeah.

I think I might be addicted to it . I just love the taste like when you drink it you get this bubbly taste which is the carbonation. My parents dont buy as much of it anymore this last weekend they just bought the litter bottles but I had enough for this weekend. I ate a little bit too much. This magaizine said how you can lose weight without a diet but I forgot what it said I just know it said stop it with candy, junk food, and soda, chips. I had all of that this weekend. No more!! I need to get on top of this resolution!

Exercise is good too. I know it's hard to get in for a lot of people, especially with how busy many are with college and classes and jobs, but even 20 minutes or so or walking or jogging or something per day is better than nothing.

I'm waiting to get a job so that I can get into a gym membership. People say they don't go because they're lazy and then they wonder why they gain weight . I walk a pretty good distance now with school and with the light rail station being across campus past the parking lot which is annoying when Im tired but it's good for my health .

I'll probably have a lot of the same resolutions this year as last year but we'll see how the rest of this year plays out with me.

I don't go to the gym because I'm lazy, but I certainly don't wonder why I'm not dropping the pounds. I do some PE at school, but it's easy and only 3 times a week. Not really enough to burn all my Taco Bell/Dr. Pepper carbs.

I think the only reason I don't get fat is my awesome metabolism, and the fact that I walk everywhere at school.

I have a GIGANTIC metabolism. And I really would walk everywhere around my school, but there really isn't anywhere to walk.

And soda has a lot of empty calories, which firstly gets you nothing, and secondly, not only fills you up with sugar, but also it fills you up, replacing other things you can eat (sometimes when I go to restaurants and such, I get full very quickly because of the pop). That's mostly why people who drink a lot of soda have worse health than most.

..oh yuck.
I would be willing to cut down on other things, or do some exercise more, if I could still go nuts on the soda. I'm just getting more and more hooked on it, especially since now my mom buys tons of it. She used to refuse sugar to me all the time.
My weight hasn't changed to the worse, which is a good sign, but something in the back of my head always makes me worry about my teeth.

I hope I don't start to gain weight when I get older due to my eating habits, as I've been warned many times.

I probably will. And then I'll be weak and fat, and no one will love me.

Oh well, that's in like 10 years.

I don't make resolutions - I'm too good for them Image hosted by Photobucket.com.

As for weight... I'm shifted toward the other end. I don't eat very much, though I probably should. Meh.
