| 'Tis what this thread is about. Funny and/or crazy things that happen to you. When I go to bed, I find I have trouble convincing myself to get up, so I set 3 alarms. One being my DS, one being a clock 5 minutes later, and one being the computer 5 minutes after that (I use the command line 'at' program to start up Winamp with the Bananaphone song on repeat  ). Well this morning, the DS's alarm went off, but I was still tired, so I just turned off the clock alarm, muted the computer, and went back to sleep for an hour. Now usually when I do this, it simply uses an existing instance of Winamp (which basically never gets closed) to play the song. But when I woke up and checked it out, it hadn't done that. Winamp was just sitting there stopped at the song I stopped it at last night. Well whatever. I go do stuff, then come back and use the computer a bit. Eventually I realize there's no sound, because it's still muted, so I un-mute it... "Bananaphone! ring ring ring!" Turns out it started a hidden second instance of Winamp and was playing the song while muted all day.  |

Random crazy things eh?  Well, if it could have to do with computers, I had an issue with Lunar Magic once, but that's about it. Things usually go quite smoothly at my house. Well, I live out in the country and have a *cough*unreliable*cough* electric company that goes down every now and then. Well, I was saving Map16 changes after making some nice backgrounds in a level, so then I hit F9, got the save prompt, then just after I hit ok, a lightning bolt lit up the sky outside, and the power went out, in the middle of saving the Map16. I freaked out, and when the power went back on and I finally got the computer booted up again, I opened my hack in Lunar Magic, and the level was fine! But the background was completely screwed!     After a while, I started noticing patterns in how the tiles were mapped, and I figureed out eventually that <beginstuffonlylunarmagicusersunderstand> it deleted the first map16 tile on page x10 and shifted all the ones after it to the left, and left most ones were shifted to the far right one row up, and the first ones on each page were all shifted to the end of the previous page! </beginstuffonlylunarmagicusersunderstand> It was quite a hassle fixing this problem, and I hope this never happens again!  |

Last night, I was sleeping and rolled over. I felt something smoothe and flat. Somehow, a deck of cards (Duel Masters, to be exact) had gotten under me while I was asleep.  My brother said it wasn't him and I know there wasn't anything on my bed when I layed down in it.That's about the craziest and randomest thing I can think of. |

| These people always call my cellphone and ask for a man named, "Arnold". I don't know who this guy is, but he sounds like a pretty cool guy. One night I was called around 11:30 or so and this guy woke me up. It was pouring outside and he said, "Arnold!? I'm in a really bad accident here could you come down?" One time my phone rang and when I picked up it was just total gibberish. It sounded like if you had a radio on and changed the station every half a second. When I did *69 to see who had called, it gave the number of the person who had called before that (a few days ago), and they said they hadn't called recently.Originally posted by dark ludwig Hah, so it wrote all the Map16 data one byte back from where it should have been. | Ha, I sleeptalk too! I would hate it if I sleepwalked, though. Although when I was little, my dad would bring me, still asleep, to the toilet, sit me down on it, and he'd say "Let it fly", and I'd obey! I knew this because sometimes I would wake up just before he did it. I know my brother will mumble random things like "Powerpuff shnee" when he rolls over in bed, I'm the kind of person who would also do that, I'm not sure. Anyway, random things? I just opened a sunflower shell with 2 seeds in it. That's wierd. Okay, that didn't call much for something random, so here's a good one: One time I was at a camp for a week, and the kids in the upstairs cabin were all jumping around. I had the top bunk of a bunk bed in the corner of the room. I hit the ceiling hard to quiet them down. They didn't. I kicked the ceiling to quiet them down. They didn't. then, I started bouncing on my back on my bunk's springs, then kicked the ceiling massively hard to quiet them down. My foot went THROUGH the ceiling, and I just sat there for ten seconds, like  . The others were all like "OMG!!!!! Andrew, you are so busted!!!!!" And I was, I ended up paying for it, too.  |

| Once I was goofing off with some buddies back in 11th grade outside after school and I jumped up onto this ledge to stand up and hit my head on the rain gutter. My school is really wierdly built on the front so this is hard to understand, but at the time we couldn't stop laughing. Hurt like crazy though. But I was still laughing. XD |

| Oh man, that reminds me of something that happened waaaay back in grade school. I was on the swing, and this kid wanders in front of me... I come flying forward and boot him in the head with both feet before I realize he's there. I go flying off the swing, do a flip in the air, and land flat on my back. It hurt a bit but it was funny as hell. |

| I can't think of anything funny at the moment, but I can relate to the alarm thing in the morning, HyperHacker. I set two alarms (my clock radio and my mobile phone). I have to put my mobile phone away from my bed so I have to actually *get up* to stop it beeping too, or I turn both alarms off without waking (or at least, without consciously being aware of waking) and then sleep in.... |

| Fifth grade. Talking to my friends, jerky guys in my class running around. It was raining outside and so I guess they decided to run into me (not on purpose I guess) and I get knocked on my ass in the ran. I fell flat on my bootay and cried it was funny though now that I think about it ..oh yeah and it was in front of that guy I had a crush on and had a crush on for 2 years ..or more..That's one thing I remember from waaay back in the days. Now I can't really remember anything. I get hiccups at anytime, after lunch, before lunch and in HS I'd hiccup in class and get weird looks during tests . This alwaaays happens on the phone and everything at least everydayOh yeah, my tummy was growling horribly one day and I tried to drink water to calm down and it didn't work..I ended up choking and people gigled it was during a lecture and good thing that one guy that's kinda cute didn't look at me..maybe he thought it was that other girl but my stomach was doin' the monster. Not crazy but it was..weird.. |
