is ther ne ways to add different staff positions on the board, i want some ppl to have certian privlages but not beable to delete posts or anything like that. let me re-word i want only certian ppl to beable to go to certian sections on my board and i don't know how to add new powerlevels. You can "add" powerlevels by simply giving someone a new powerlevel. For example, the original board's admin power level is 3. Let's say you wanted "Super Administrator" or something. You set a user's powerlevel to 4. That's all there is to it. Two more things are involved though. 1) The new powerlevels will need name colors. I think you edit this in colors.php. Also update the faq with the new powerlevel as well. 2) Give the powerlevel something to do. Like make certain pages only available if the $loguser[powerlevel] is set to let specific powerlevels in. |

The way the board acts, I think you're going to have to modify most (or all) pages if you want levels lower than Local Mod, but higher than normal user. |
