| Today is September 1st, which means that June, July, and August are over! I consider those to be the three summer months. It is now time to wake up at the crack of dawn to experience the giant Monday I call September! We have many things to look forward to! The first day of school! Halloween! Thanksgiving! Decemberween! Chirstmas! The new year! The last day of school! Have you guys had a fun summer? Have you done everything you wanted to accomplish? Are you ready for school/college? Please, feel free to complain about all the things you should've done or how much you don't want to attend school and your feelings on the closing of the summer! Thats what this thread is all about! | I'd have to wake up early almost every single day to watch my brother for the entire day. Even after my mom got off work, she'd go do other things. At one point I wasn't able to go to bed until midnight, because he doesn't have a bedtime or anything and I'm his god damn slave, and she'd make me wake up early the next day anyway. I couldn't do anything, I was just trapped at home. I'm still bitter. I feel let down over school. I was excited to get back in, but now I feel like I'm more uncertain in my senior year than I was as a freshmen. I've had to change my schedule four times. It's the second week of school now, and I'm already out because of this damn cold.  I just feel like things are going to get worse.All except one of my teachers I have had in previous years, and they're already bugging me about what I'm going to do when I get out of school. I have no security in my future and it's really bothering me. Just this sort of panicky feeling in my head won't go away. I do not look forwards to holidays. I want my birthday to come just so I can say I'm 18, but that's really it. I've been in a really bad mood from this sickness, so I could look at this in a week and think this post is just really whiny. So I dunno. |

| Well, over here in Australia, it's starting to get warmer, and the Winter months are coming to a slow close. It's still been pretty cold yesterday and it's a bit chilly today, but I'm finding that I don't need to wear a scarf as much anymore. Surf Lifesaving Season will be beginning soonish (November) so now's the time for me to start my preseason training if I intend to get involved this year. I've discussed with Mum the possibility of starting swim training again (I need a ride there and back), so I can get fit again, as I'm really really out of shape lately (despite me having lost 10kg). Summer's coming.  |

| I started Sophomore year yesterday. . . I am not hating it as much as I thought I would. My teachers are all nice and at least one of my friends are in all my classes I just wish I could be a little more excited. I have tried to be open minded but I'm usualy just seen as the quiet shy girl so I don't fit in very well. I guess, mixed with being homesick, it made me a little reluctant to go back..but, so far, I think I'll give it my all I'm trying to be a little more open, too. | I'm a senior, and it sucks. My locker is literally 3 minutes walking distance ONE WAY from any of my classes. THEN, there are so many kids at my school, that I can't even try to get to my locker, because it'll be at least 5 minutes till I get there, and another 5 back. Senior privlages you may ask? NONE. Oh wait...we get picnic tables. ROCK ON. |

| Oh, I forgot to mention that I'm a sophomore this year. The next thing I have to look forward to is this fair that's held every September. They have rides, and food, and all of that fair stuff. | Freshman in college this year..yay? It's okay so far my summer ended less than 2-3 weeks ago and it was decent. I did way more than I did during these last summer since I got a drivers license. Didn't get a job but I had some money when summer started out from graduation. Being a senior is fun I would go back and re-do it again most likely I kinda miss High school already  . It'll go by faaaaaast. |

| Toxic: That's strange. When I was in high school, we had two separate locker areas... one for Grades 7-8, the other for 9-11. Plus we only were allowed to access them before school, at lunch and after school. So no real location problems there. |

| I had locker problems freshman year, because they pile all 1,000 freshman into one tiny hallway that has classes in it and swinging doors, with 2-3 people to a locker, which translates to 1,000 kids trying to shove their way to their locker and not be late to class. Dear god. But they only do that to freshmen. Sophomore year, I was lucky enough to get a locker right in the middle of the school easy to get to from almost any class. This year, my locker is pretty close to the one I had last year, but people tend to push lunch tables against those lockers for some reason.. that gets annoying if people are sitting there leaning against my locker for a backrest. >8( | |||
