I just got some in my right leg today. There was a mole or something there, so they sliced it off. Not a big deal, but these next 3 weeks are gonna be hell...

And, when I was 2 (I think), my dad accidentally "threw" me into a coffee table and I got a nice cut over my right eyebrow.

Any stitch stories from you guys?

My best friend fell on a tabbaco stick, and it went through his neck....But he's okay now.

When I was a kid, my mom drank and drive after a Christmas party and went off a cliff. She got injured bad and had a ton of stitches on and around her lips, and in her forehead.
That was gross to look at, and an embarrassing reminder of what she did.
I had to go with her to the place when she got them removed. I remember they were out pretty quickly, and I was really into my Pokémon game that day. Before she went in, I described how my 5th grade teacher described the horror of getting stitches out of her nose.
Best daughter ever.
I don't think she has scars, but I can't really tell.. and I've never tried to examine.

That's my only story, I'm lucky to never have stitches so far..

No, No, No, No. It went through one side and blood was going everywhere..... He thought it went out it, because he was twisted in pain.

I got stitches when I was 12 or so in my right hand. I was giving my nephews a bath like a good aunt I am () when the handle you turn to adjust the temp snapped off as I was pushing on it. The sharp edge of the metal sliced my palm right open, I was told had it been less than a centimeter more to the right of my palm, I would have hit the main artery and lost a great deal of blood and god knows what else. So I guess I got lucky there. Had 9 stitches in for 3 weeks, and I now have a permanent dent in my palm that is easily noticable. You can even see the little holes where the stitches went around it.

[Insert Lilo and Stich joke here.]

I don't think I've ever had any, but my dog did. Dumb thing was always chasing cars and got sideswiped by a snow plow. Ripped its side right open. It was alright afterward though.

Haven't had many. Most I had at any given time was 25 and that was wisdom teeth pullouts. I know Tuves had jaw surgery and he had upwards of 37.

However many they put in for my wisdom teeth... Ow ow ow. Can't remember my exact total but it was under 25. Might have been in the 16-18 range but that's still quite uncomfortable.

I am quite thankful that I've never had to get stitches anywhere in my body, even when I had surgery done on my body ^^;

However, slightly off-topic, but when I saw this post, my first thought was of wonderful Stitches from World of Warcraft

I'd assume I had stitches in my belly from surgery, but I never saw them.

I sliced open my hand once, across the bottom of my right thumb and should've needed stitches if they weren't scared that stitches would pull the skin and nerves abnormally and do more harm than good. They opted to tape the wound up instead.

Hmm, I´ve not had many stitches either. I can´t remember.

And I hope I don´t get any in the near future.

I guess technically I had stitches in my mouth after I had my wisdom teeth out. They were dissolveable, oooooo.

But no, no real stitches.

Unless you fall on your head or I hit you with something .

Dissolveable? That's so cool but those were stitches in their own way.

I dont want stitches..so I'm going to walk around with pillows around me attatched..or not..

The stitches in my belly were dissolvable. I pulled some of it out though, the knotted bit at the end.... it was like fishing line, that looked like the end of it had been dipped in acid and eaten away.

I haven't found any other bits of stitchy stuff in my belly since.

I had to get around 9 stitches when I was 7 on the lip. Busted it on the playground.
