| *Luigi-San thinks this should be in General Emulation Anyway, patch the .ips file to a clean SMW rom (don't ask us where to find one, it's a no-no.). Use Lunar IPS for that. It's available at http://fusoya.panicus.org. *Luigi-San slaps djtristaph (edited by Luigi-San on 08-28-05 08:47 PM) |

| Get Lunar LIPS from this site. Your .ips files should have the LIPS symbol after unzipping, double click on one of them and a new window that says select a file to patch should show up. Select the rom that the hack is suppose to be (ex. would be if a ips file is a hack of SMW, you would select your SMW to patch) and it should be successfully patched. | LMFAO!!!!!!!! I am going to note this in my list of funniest n00b questions! In fact, this is going on number 2. Back on topic, and IPS is designed to avoid distributing ROMs, which is breaking the law. Its just a file containing changes made to the original file to be applied as a patch later on. It IS currently legal to distribute these. More information in the FAQs. |
