| Considering what happened over the past few months, I've come to a rather sad decision. Over time, I have embarked on various creative computer projects. Most of them games, some otherwise. Of all these projects, EliteMap is the only one that ended up in a more or less finished state. My friends and family have been more or less pushing me to finish what I start. I'd hate to let them down on this subject as I've done it too often before. Sadly, it kinda pains me to say that one more of my projects will be shelved. Possibly for good. Without ever being finished. This project is Catnip Dreams. I've learned a lot of things from it's development, and those things will not go to waste. I decided to post this announcement to shelf it more "officially", and it also cuts down on questions later on. I've been asked about an old project months after it's termination multiple times. Catnip Dreams will have it's folder shortcut removed from my desktop shortly, and be put away for later reference. You can stop making music for it now, Keitaro. You did a great jorb so far. | Although I have never come across Catnip Dreams, I am sure it was a great project, and I am very sorry to see you let it go. There is a time and place for everything, and maybe its time had run out. I am glad you have looked within yourself to make the right decision. It will only make you a stronger person. | Well, I've read the PM Tony talked about. Lemme say it like this: Catnip Dreams is shelved, but not deleted. Yoronosuku, who was supposed to do the artwork for this project, can't be expected to upload shit. She didn't upload shit for several months, despite Tony's promises. If anybody who can draw proper hentai (and a load of "normal" scenes) cares to give it a shot, I may get to de-shelve this thing and finish it after all. | Kawa, never considered of making first the game planning which images you\'re gonna put, draw them by yourself (I know that you can\'t draw chicks, but you draw gRReat, just practice and you draw girls), or just making another game using mostly all that you made for catnips. For example, an RPG, or maybe an adventure game RPG-map based (knowing that basically CD is that but with hentai). Last idea is good, knowing that in best adventure games there are minigames (Sam&Max, Monkey Island... ah, so many memories... I love those), and you can use the one you\'ve already made for CD Just a plot change, and all your problems solved. Still artist needed, like with everything, but with a different (and more doable) job, and I know a guy who\'s always pestering about helping in things, and who is doing some pics for some game someone\'s doing ^_- Cheer up, man. |
