What the hell. I have no idea how to place tiles in the level editor and overworld. I can move stuff around, but I have no idea how to place tiles like question blocks and ground and pipes and stuff onto the work area. May seem like a dumb question, but help anyone?

You could try reading the Lunar Magic Help file, it's pretty simple.

Yes thats a question that even a newbie would know the answer dude! What the hell? Its that you will have difficulty as hell to make a hack! Anyways, make sure youre on layer1 editing mode and then click on the turn block button on the top of your editor, or just press shift+Z.. Hey you should have tried harder to find out how to do that... Theres a tutorial with lunar magic! Read, read! Itll only do good! Before posting dumb questions, try longer to solve them. Damn dude! |

Well, you didn't have to be THAT harsh Wirtzzz But yeah, do like he said, you shoulda really read the help file first, but you gotta make sure you're on Layer 1 editing mode, then you can place objects, or Sprite editing mode, which lets you paste sprites. And then layer 2 - well, don't worry about that until you get it all down packed. Same goes with the overworld - make sure you're on 8x8 mode to place 8x8 tiles (hills, water, etc) and 16x16 mode to place 16x16 tiles (ghost houses, levels, castles, etc.) |
