Seriously, I think this stuff happens everywhere, and has happened many times before, but we're just focusing on Wal Mart now because of that one thread.

Except maybe at K-mart. Who wants to shop there, anyway ?

Exactly, could have happened anywhere at any time.

Nobody wants to shop at K-Mart anymore. We only have 2 here in town that I know of

All the K-marts here closed a few years ago. Even the big Super K stores, closed. They're fading pretty quick from what I can tell.

Yeah, some of the ones near me closed because of bankruptcy. We have one Super K-Mart and one regular one in the ugly place where I used to live. It's ooglified, I think it'll end up closing soon.

Wal-Mart is really popular but..it reminds me of K-Mart a little bit. Not how it's losing money but how dirty it gets..

I don't because I don't like any of the stuff they had. It got closed down a long time ago. The only K-Mart I know is in a small town where my grandparents live. It's a pretty good K-Mart but Walmart took over and now there's a big competition.

Competition between Wal-Mart and K-Mart over there?

Here it's between Wal-Mart and Target. Wal-Mart has the prices and Target has the products. I haven't been to a K-mart in awhile though. Maybe last year

Basically the reason why K-Mart was doing so well was because of the Martha Stewart merchandise, and now that she was arrested, everything went down the hole

But Target > Walmart.

I usually go to Wal-Mart. I've never been to any other stores that aren't grocery shops... Yeah, i live in a town.

THE FIVE LITTLE STEPS TO BECOMING WAL MART'S SLAVES

1. Move to a small town where Wal Mart is planning to build.
2. Start a business with a small assortment of things
3. Watch your business grow slightly as time passes
4. Watch as business falls apart as soon as the Wal Mart is finished, and become destitute and a homeless.
5. Become a slave (essentially) to Wal Mart.

Target > Walmart.
They're the two major stores that compete around here, along with Kohls.. but they're not as big. I prefer Target, but I don't shop in stores like that very often to begin with.

Eh, I haven't actually been to Costco or Kohl's .

We have both of those stores in our area but we never go. Kohl's is damn expensive. We get the advertisement in the Sunday paper and I'm flipping through it going "Damn this costs a lotta money "

Target > greater than almost all

Costco!! Yes, they rock. But damn, it's really annoying shopping there, it takes an hour+ just to checkout and walk to your car.
Free food and drink samples on almost every isle...

Free samples?! I need to go

That store looks hella big from the outside. I should go there on my own one day now that I got my own transportation to check out the prices. Our class got pizza there once..or was it Winco? I think it was Costco..

You have to become a member to shop there. You get a card with your picture on it that looks really retarded. But it's worth it, they have really excellent deals and delish pizza.

A card? I'll just go look around there for the samples one lunchtime when I'm hungry . The picture sounds kinda weird. I haven't heard of any other store that does that but I guess they want to be unique with it.

Most stores do have a card..I think Wal-Mart does too but I'm not sure . Almost every store does..except for a few grocery stores in this area.

I used to go there all the time just to fill up on the free samples. Then, by the time my parents finished shopping and we reached the cafeteria, I'd be too full Image hosted by Photobucket.com. I still got the berry smoothie, though.
