Well, since Southern California (where I am now) is covered, and the bay area part of Northern California, I'll cover the specific (Stockton) part of California where I used to live. The surrounding cities had an impression of it, at least....

-actually, most people live there so they can work in the bay area (100 mile a day commute, smart people..) or have family that works in the bay area

•The education is among the worst in the country
-Only if it's public, the private schools is be gud I heared
•The city is overrun with gangs and drug addicts
-Just the Southern part, the rest is only speckled with druggies and thugs
•The delta is polluted and undrinkable
-It's that debris-free kind of pollution, we just have chemicals, exhaust, and unhealthy levels of bacteria! Fridges and tires are kept to a minimum.

Amazingly enough, there are some intensely right wing people up here, but for the most part, especilly berkely, we are so far left it scares most moderate democrats.

Not so much, enough do but not nearly as many as you would think

-Everyone in SF is gay
Again, not true, but usually people in SF are much more accepting of homosexual lifestyles than any other part of the region, which is a good thing in my book.
