Edit: I was basically thinking the same thing as you, Kawa-oneechan, but didn't want to be so direct, so I wanted to see what he was willing to do for the hack or if there was a good reason he couldn't do these parts himself. | Oh great, another one of those guys. Link, you've listed just about everything but the script and kitchen sink. In other words, you're basically asking if we will make the hack for you. Most times, the answers is no. This may sound a bit harsh, but keeping a backup rom and some scratchpad copies handy can and will get you experienced enough to do it yourself. That goes for all games. Also: one word posts are a big turnoff for me and my moderating friends, Qball. | I'm going to have to side with Setzer on this one. Why should romhackers be expected to handle every single aspect of their project? Not just anyone has the patience or the drive or the skill to do all of that faithfully. Think about it for a second. When developers design these games, they do it in teams. That's right, they work together and each of the project members (usually) specialize in just one thing. I would say this thread is more about finding project members than anything else. This call would go out to anyone who really doesn't have anything better to waste their time with online or on the pc (or isn't involved in their own project). Link, you should be more explicit. What kind of project are you proposing and what will you contribute to it? Also, I'd take the others' advice and mess around with Hyrule Magic and learn how to use it before you ask for help. Hell, if you showed screenshots that would help your case a lot. |

| You guys are really beating this guy up. Sure, what he asked for may qualify him as deserving it, but i think we can be above that sort of thing. My advice to Link_48329 as an experienced LTTP hacker is to find a dedicated partner, and work together to make a small demo hack. You really need to learn the ins and outs of Hyrule Magic. Seph's guide to HM will probably be a big help, and you should use the origional rom as a reference constantly to see how things are done. I still turn to the origional for reference, and i have been hacking LTTP for like 2 years. Good luck. |
