SNN here, speaking for . . himself . . .but anyway, I just started EggVine, been hex editing in it (thanks GoYo  ) and I've produced my first level - which I'd like some reviews on, if you all can. Thanks 1-1: A Shy Guy Welcome  Look at all the shy guys. Lots of shy guy puzzles in this level   Many ways to go with many obstacles. You may find some secrets if you use that shy guy there . .  Those coins must symbolize something - straight, left, or down . . ?  A bonus area (hard to find), with one big arrow puzzle. You really gotta think about this one . .  Near the end, you'll find a Chomp Rock, Shy Guys, A Flower, and A Poundable Post. How does all this tie together . . .? I tried to include as much action AS POSSIBLE, so please, tell me what you all think of my first ever attempted YI level |

| Nice job, I'm really impressed with you. Many people refuse to use EggVine because it isn't user-friendly, plus you have just started to hack the game, but your screens are looking great. Good job, and I'm glad YI hacking is finally picking up again. | |||

| LOL I'm impressed with myself to be honest . . I thought most people would say *too plain* or something . . considering theres not really much on the screens . . but I'm really happy, it took me about 5 failed attempts at using EggVine . . but it's a good thing I liked YI so much or else I wouldn't have done it. . . |

| Thank you I'm working on 1-2 right now, hoping to release a demo when I get to 1-4, then you guys can see the game in motion instead of a freeze frame. Maybe I'll actually be able to finish this . .I dunno, time will tell. |

| That's my goal . .though isn't Peardian gonna have the second? He's at 2-2 last demo I saw - and his levels are really good also. Maybe I can pull off a third But I'm deifinitely gonna stick with it, and Lunar Magic is on hold for a while. So I'll have lots of time for Eggvine. |

YI is starting to become popular after Golden Yoshi released his hack. Pretty good level design but what makes me sad is that you put your other hack on hold. |

| Honestly, 1-2 looks nice, but not as nice as 1-1. I noticed in Screen 1 though on 1-2 that the right side of the Flower platform isnt aligned right. I know this is tricky, because I just got in a hissy fit the other day because I couldnt get it right...(In case anyones wondering, I was going to start YI hacking for like the 6th time the other day, and I went to make a Flower level, and I couldnt get the damn sides to line up, so I said "Wow forget it.", as I used to know how...) | |||

| I honestly . . . seriously . . .never mind . . I just put together a bunch of stuff, and people call it nice. Well, if you guys think it's nice, it must be nice. It's a good thing I got patience, else I wouldn'y be doing this. GoYo was right - this is the most advanced, not user-friendly editor ever. But still sweet. Sonicandtails: I agree with you. I like 1-1 better, thought I don't dislike 1-2. I think everyone will like 1-3 though, it's based on . . . . fabio: Good idea. I think I will Asuka: I'm sure you've seen nicer than this hack I'll post more of 1-2 later on tonight. |
