| Ok...... I sped through the level in world 3. I got all the way to the end. Went Yoshi normally throws Baby Mario to the other Yoshi, he barely missed his back, lands on the ground, and slides to the right of the screen, and bounces and slides to the left of the screen and goes off-screen, making the egg ricocheting sound insesently. |

 Click here to look at it. I hope you had one of these already. I rather need one so I could play a little bit better in Golden Yoshi's hack instead of using my keyboard. I own Super Nintendo and I wouldn't sold it for anything including the Original SMW2 Yoshi's Island. Even though I had the Game Boy Player on the Nintendo Gamecube with Super Mario Advance 3 Yoshi's Island. But the controls is not the same as the Super NES. I beat the game, cheating. I used the rewind button when I died. Oh and that allows you to use a SNES controller on CPU. Therefor, making your hack easier. (edited by Raccoon Flight on 08-31-05 08:04 PM) |

| I'm not gonna look through 9 pages of text again, so I'll just post the errors I've found, you can check them off if they've already been reported or if you already know about them. In 3-6: When the helicopter effect wears off, sometimes you'll be placed above it on the ledge, and sometimes right next to the door...  A bigger boo is partially showing through the layer... Looks kinda funny. I forget what level that is in...   When the crabs are hit with the water bubbles, they start flying in both directions (after you sometimes) and only show one clip the entire time. Not only that, but the annoying "they got hit" sound effect is constantly playing. It's like rapid fire sound effect and they zoom really quickly. I really like the difficulty from worlds 3 on up. Although in one of the snow levels, you must have things very well hidden, since I only got a score of 34. --Edit-- My layout is not breaking the tables. You can check my profile to confirm it. Someone else broke it, and mine is feeling the effect. Unless someone changed mine without me knowing... --Edit 2-- I need to learn how to spell... | I see some replies about cheating in Golden Yoshi's hack. Well I DO NOT CHEAT in either in those hacks and including my own SMB3 the lost levels for Super Mario All-Stars. My brother does because he is an lazy ass cheater and I do not like it one bit. Right now, I played through World 3-5 right now while my brother is still in World 1-4. It's kinda sad when my brother works on Lunar Magic alot. |

| Well. I played the first 4 levels and I got to say I'm very impressed. It feels like a whole new adventure with Yoshi and Baby Mario. The only cheat I used is the "always have yellow yoshi" cheat since he's my favorate. I'm getting a little lost on 1-5, but I'll figure it out on my own. I'll estimate I can finish this hack with a perfect score in about 6-7 days (if I keep playing). By then I'll give a full review on it, but so far so good. Great job. BTW. I'm kinda getting into hacking my own SMW 2 game called "Yoshi's Story 2",but its coming out horrible.If you want, maybe you could share some tips with me in hacking this game (Like backgrounds colors, certian sprite tilesets,etc).PM me if you're interested. |
