A year is fine. YI has 48 levels plus 6 extras. That makes 56 levels and in 12 months...it makes...5 levels for 11 months and 1 the last month. It's a lot of work, but it was worth the time. So, in the end: GRRRRREEEAT work...(i wish i could have some time to play it though )

. Anyway, I did take about a 3-4 month break from this hack, so it was more like 8-9 months. Usually each level took me about 3-5 days, a month to complete one world.

Hmm...where's the fifth flower in 1-7? I've found the three in the monkey area, the one in the secret area with the flower, blob and two flashing eggs, and the one in the final area, but I can't find that last one. I figure it's in the Tap-Tap area, but sprite problems make it finicky.

You meant 1-6 right? There aren't any flowers in the Tap-Tap area since they vanished when I tried to place them there, so...

Figured it out. I thought it froze because the Text Boxes show up as black boxes, and there are no words, so I have to "scroll" through it before I can move

Seriously, horrible glitch in 3-4. After the point where you can break the cieling above the rotating thing and jump on that cloud to get up in to it to get stuff, go right a fair bit from there and if you stay against the wall for a short bit you become unable to move because the screen zooms up and to the right and won't go left when you try.

I just completed the game. Bowsers castle is a very hard level.. .. it took me a while to complete. I liked the level "Yoshis Island Forever".. good level, though takes a while to complete ^^

Nope, not corrupted and it was unmodified. I tried again without the watermelon and it happened again. It seems to occur because there are too many red bullets on screen at once, but even then it's semi-random.

Crap, About the bug I've found, It more easy to do in the fourth aera of 3-5 because there a lot of bubble plant and crab in this aera and I think the red bullet bug caused by sprite overload

To fix that bug in 1-8, simply:

a) get rid of the winged cloud
or
b) get rid of one of the red bullet launchers

Uh...I dont know if GoYo is planning on any bug fix releases. Anyways, I got it to happen. Yea I think its sprite overload. Really, it's nothing that couldn't happen in the original. So BOO HOO.

Thanks, although it isn't so much an honor. After all, it's the only YI hack this year

Those are some pretty major bugs, I will have to release a bug fix version. I'll wait to see if anyone finds some other major stuff. Just my luck, the biggest bugs don't get discovered until after my beta testers played it and it's released. Well, my advice for the time being is just eat those red bullet bills as they come out of the shooters, and avoid spitting bubbles at crabs.

Maybe the reason the original YI avoided using the red bullet bills is because a bunch of them can follow you at once, thus causing a sprite overload. I apologize for these glitches

No, the red bullet bills are the only ones I know of.

Yes, I found some more, like a version of the plant that shoot egg but shoot bubble insted they apeared in a bonus place of level 3-5
