| Well, don't let what people say about the difficulty veer you away from playing. Everyone has a different opinion of difficulty for this hack. Some think it's too hard, some think it's too easy, and some think it's just about right (well probably not many, if any, but meh). Plus, Kawa, did you really have to proclaim you didn't want to play it like that, so that everyone shuns it? | In the name of all things holy and/or dealing with nachos... Amazing hack, GY! SImply AWESOME! Now, I am inspired, and shall retreat into solitude somewhere in the Himalya Mountains until I can use EggVine. MUST...HACK...YOSHI'S...ISLAND... And yeah, the graphics in YI simply rock, that's more than enough, EggVine doesn't NEED a graphics or palette editor. They're nice to look at, but it's like comparing a piece-of-crap Gamecube game to, say, Super Metroid - sure, the graphics are better, but Super Metroid is an overall much better game. Power to level deisgn! |

| This hack is awesome! It is just great. Awesome. Now to make time between Sonic Gems Collection, Geist, work, school, Advance Wars Dual Strike and Nintendogs to play it through again... Also, this hack is hard to get 100%. Easy to get past some of the levels straight through, but hard 100%... sometimes... |

| Finally got to play a little more after having downloaded it a while back; this really is fantastic! It's *hard*. I was never much good at the original YI, so this is a challenge. FOrtunately it's not at the insane difficulty level of some of the Metroid hacks. You really don't need palette hacking since this game is so bright and vivid to begin with. Graphics too -- the designers did such a good job that the original stuff should stay intact. This is looking like a great gameplay hack. Can't wait to make some more progress! |

| Well everyone try to forgive me for the sporadic levels of difficulty in this. It's not so easy to make it perfectly balanced when there are so many limitations with EggVine, so a lot of corners had to be cut. Eh why am I saying this, it's not like anyone can do much of a better job with hacking YI, so many people refuse to use EggVine. It's hard work so I did the best I could, sorry if it isn't perfect. Looks like I'm still the same ol' stupid Golden Yoshi I always was, could never and still can't get difficulty to a good level, I don't know what's wrong with me. Well, my problem is just that after a year's work I still couldn't pull off something decent that would impress people. There's plenty of things wrong with it as I see now and it just goes to show that I never really improve from hack to hack. I think I do with every new hack I come out with but it's always the same, always. Sorry I'm just very critical of myself  . |

Hell yea I've been waiting for this! Well I've beaten the first 2 worlds just about and I love it so far. It's really not as hard as everyones making it out to be, its harder than the original, but its not frustrating. It's just as much fun as the original, wich is somthing very few people are able to pull off Well theres my 2 cents, and if you'll excuse me I got a game to play. |
