Thanks for the compliments though, it means a lot. I may go on to hack Mario Land 1 and 2 hacking depending on the reception of this hack. If it's the same old, same old negative feedback as my SMW hacks, you can probably forget it.

And I didn't quite understand your comment on what happened in 2-4 with the crab.

Lenophis...Just give me a break with World 1. That was when I was starting out and my difficulty level was all over the place. And I know level transitions are weird, that's because I wanted to jam-pack a little variety into my early levels for the World 1 demo. Plus, did you not see that 1-5 is called "Land Of Wacky Climates".

And when I said "You must be doing something wrong", I didn't mean with everything, just patching it to the wrong ROM. I mean, if the level screens don't freeze for me, but it does for others, wouldn't it be a safe assumption that someone might have patched it wrong or something else?

Any positive thoughts yet from anyone?

First off all this commentary wasn't about your hack It was because just before HH was talking about the good YI graphic then I said that the level icon is the only one that should be edited.
And about the bug I was talking about, renember the small purple plant that spread bubble when jumped on,there a aera in 2-4 where there one a the same place as a crab If yoshi jump on the plant, resulting a bubble that hit the crab,the crab start acting like a shell like object and the crab dommage SFX don't stop to play

I think what he's trying to say is, theres a part where you hit a bubbler daisey, that when you hit it, its bubbles can hit the crab near it. And if it does, it's properties change to that of a shell, and some SFX stops...

Im sorry...But are you using a translator?

Maybe you missed one in the tree covers at the top of the level. There is one in the second room near the beginning, where you have to jump to a small block with a tree on it. The red coin is in the tree cover above that.

Yea I have tested it plenty of times and have gotten 100% every time I did it. I can't imagine what you're missing, the rest of the red coins are pretty obvious in that level. Um lemme think of some more...

1. Did you get the two in the stumps at beginning of the level, the stumps with the pokey dudes on them?
2. Did you get the one from the flying red shy guy in the third room near the beginning?
3. Did you get the ones after springing up from the boucny ball near the mini-game door in the 4th room?

I think Ifigured out what's wrong.
I viewed the level with eggvine, and realized that one of the red coins in the last section of the stage is not showing up in the game. Any way to solve this?

Dude, will you chill? I forgot to post an answer to your post because of other people's comments. Anyway, I used Translhextion to edit the level names, no ASM required.
