| Alright my PS2p is semi-done but 100%playable along with snes station pgen and itmightbenes. So I can play ps2 psx snes gens and nes games on it any ideas on some interesting games I could play on the go? | |||

| All I know is that PSCX2 is barely running and that La Pucelle, Disgaea, and Makai Kingdom are like...the only games that run for PS2 emulation. | |||

| Other games run (one of the Bust-A-Move games does I think) on PCSX2, but if the game solely uses 3D graphics... it'll range from "really slow" to "not working". 0.9 is going to come out eventually (if you visit the website, take a look at the picture CAREFULLY otherwise you'll be fooled like I was) and there's some BIG improvements... FFX is playable now but still isn't very fast obviously, and apparently the three playable Nippon Ichi games received huge speed-ups; as well, Disgaea has sound now. Speed-wise, I get around 50-60% with Disgaea and Makai... that'll go up with the new version. On the other hand, I can get between 80-90% for La Pucelle. |

| Yeah, they fixed the sound issues in some games along with other things. My *gut* feeling is that they wanted to get Disgaea and the other Nippon Ichi games as close to 100% as possible so that they could use that info to work on the graphic-intensive games. Plus at the moment most people who aren't FFX fanboys want those games running since... well... they work.  |

| Makai Kingdom on an emulator. HAX. I should really download it, but I'm still playing Disgaea. In fact I just got the normal ending for the first time after owning the game since a couple months after Phantom Brave came out (which, sadly, has absolutely NOTHING on Disgaea, but at least it came with a pretty soundtrack ) |

| Oh, it's completely, totally wrong. I agree. But 2D games (specifically almost anything in the Nippon Ichi bracket) seem to take to PCSX2 quite well, and when the speed boost officially is added in... well, I'll be done for months. |

Disgaea even runs on my computer with my cheap GeForceMX4000, although it is slow (assuming about 10 to a maximum of 15 FPS  ), but it is playable  That doesn't beat the wish to buy a PS2 in december after Sony's new console is out (and the PS2 will get cheaper) - and I'll be ready to buy copies from Star Ocean 3 - Till The End of Time, Disgaea - Hour of Darkness and La Pucelle  (edited by Surlent on 08-22-05 05:55 AM) (edited by Surlent on 08-22-05 05:56 AM) |

| 30 FPS seems to be the max for the game so you're running it at around 50% speed at max, which isn't bad. It'll be faster soon. |
