Lets say I wanted to have one of those scrolly layouts.. one where I can enter text and have it be scrollable. How exactly would I do that. I've tried messing around with a textarea, but it didn't work out too well. With textareas you can't manipulate the colros of the text or the font and things like that, so there must be another way. If someone knows how to do this, just please help me out. Thankies :]~ (edited by SnowTomato on 04-13-04 06:55 PM) |

There's a thread specificly for layout help in the Modern Art forum (though I personally find it more appopiate for the Help / Suggestions forum, but oh well.) But on a side note, HOLY FUCKING JESUS DON'T USE SCROLLBARS! |

Yeah, everyone points to that sticky thread in the....art? forum....bah I posted for help there on how to change a link color, and it's been a week... Programming seems a better place to post these questions (nobody posts for layout help in the art forum everyone must notice by now, they come here.....). Although scrollbars are evil, and blah blah blah, I too would like to see how they are done. |

It's not that difficult. View the page source, and copy and paste what you need where you see my layout Don't let anyone put you off using scrollbars. I haven't yet had one complaint about mine, but that's because the fanboys loved it so much Meh *closes* |
