| I have a suggestion that may not be a major hassle. Just change all the red to green in a different version. To versions. One with the gore and one without so much gore. Just simple do like i said, one with green and one with red. The toad heads are not so bad i guess. |

| Yeah but to people like me and maybe some others on the board this would not gross us out as much, as is i can hardly look at some of this screens that have blood in them. And all he would have to do change the pallet just a little. This way he can get more people to play it that may not like to see blood everywhere. All i know is that if he just has it with blood he can forget every single person playing, this way he can bring others in and they may bee more convinced to play it. It is just as simple as making 2 versions, one with th red for those who want it, and for those who do not want it he has the one with the green or blue or brown or any other color other then red. I'm sorry, but to a true die hard Mario fan this is a stab in the heart to have blood in a Mario game to me. I mean, it just feels soooo wrong. And if more then one level of this hack has blood i do not think ill be playing it but that is just my prerogative. Every thing eles is good. Blood and gore and the same old Luigi bad. |

| Damn! Germany is stricked. It's time like this that I am glad that i live in the US. I would have never have been able to play resident evil. I'm not saying i hate gore and blood, just not in a game like Mario or what have you. Although the idea of a platformer that is gross is very appealing. I think a good idea would be to take Mario world and hack it replacing it with castlevania type stuff and that means Mario himself as well. I think i may do that one day. |

| I don't mind blood itself.. -However- it's not really fitting for a Mario-game, you know? Do whatever you want, but it's not really consistent.. Not to say it always has to be, but as can be seen in this thread, it turns a lot of people off.. Generally people don't like to see cute cuddly images turned violent and bloody. |
