Congradulations, ||bass, you've got us all naming shapes like nincompoops .

I'd name the orange one Kiki and the purple one Booba. Kiki, as said before, sounds sharper.

Are you not looking at the image? The left shape has 14 corners and the right shape doesn't have any.

Oka, I say that the Orange is Kiki and the Purple is Boob...oh, I mean Booba.

Kiki sounds like some sort of fruit.

Kiki - Orange
Booba - Purple

I'm sure there's a trick to this ...

Basically I just look at it this way, because booba is like a bubble kind of word or something, and that purple thing is bubbl-ey-ish. Yeah, my logic rules.

This has to do with diction. Kiki is cacophonous, or harsh sounding, so it goes with the pointy shape. Boobla is euphoric, or smooth sounding, so it goes with the smooth shape. I had a lesson similar to this in english last year.
Most of you are right because of how the words sound.

I couldn't agree even more with you. I can repeat exactly what you said about Booba. And the orange one has sharp corners, and since "K" is a sharp sound, I think Kiki sounds best for that one.

The answer is that the spikey orange one is the Kiki and the bloby purple one is the Booba. The point is that most people name them correctly despite the fact that they would have no way of knowing which was which.

This is an interesting article. I've experienced these things my entire life, but have never found a name for it. Pain, smell and taste. These often bring about strange associations. Being pricked with a pin needle is a purple sort of pain for me. The taste of one type of cherry-flavored drink is swirly and pink, while another consists of long colorless strips which taper at either end. There's a specific scented candle which smells like little red dots dispersed across a colorless plane. Whenever I have strep throat, I know it. I can tell whether my sore throat is strep or not because I can feel it. Strep throat feels like a brittle amber-colored rectangle with circular indents all along it in a grid pattern. You see, I got sore throats very often in my youth, and those around me were always concerned it was strep. The three times I had strep throat, I knew it because of that sensation I got every time I swallowed. Despite my ability to predict whether my sore throat was strep, every time I got a sore throat I was hauled off to the doctor to check, none-the-less. I knew when the culture would come back negative, but nobody believed me.

Synaesthesia, huh? Interesting...

You said, "Decide which shape you would like to name the Booba and which shape you would like to name the Kiki." It didn't specify I had to choose among those two

...To be honest, I was expecting some kind of tremendous, amazing answer to this shape question. Ah well.

I think Toto would be a good name for a blocky shape.

There would be some inaccuracy in a web forum. A user may decide to go against the stream, as ten other posters said bobba.

I seen this for several years ago, so I decide not to answer knowing what most people would answer anyway.
