Ugh! Yes you thought correctly I have to get my wisdom teeth removed Monday. I dont think it will be bad but at the same time I dont think it will be good either. I heard stories that were good and bad. Share your experience please.

I had mine out. Not too bad, just slept a lot for a couple of days and had to eat soft food for a while. Although on the second day, I got fed up and ate a sandwich, which was incredibly hard, but I did it.

Haven't had to get mine pulled yet, I'm thankful. All I can do is pray I'll never have to.
I do remember a thread about wisdom teeth not that long ago...

i got a bad story!!!

I had 4 removed, and they knocked me out. Somehow, they either didn't give me enough, or as I'm slowly fiinding out, I may have some immunity to pain killers. Well, I started to wake up for the third one, which kinda freaks you out. But, for the last one, I woke up, felt the full force of the drill, and it sucked. Dentist basically told me to hold tight, cause the pain killers wouldn't work fast enough.

Other than that, not bad. It's funny to feel the big giant holes in your mouth.

Hehe, I´ve already gotten all of my wisdom teeth. I´ve not a had a single problem with them .

I got some other teeth removed when I was younger because the teeth sat too close together. Maybe that´s why I haven´t had any problems with my wisdom teeth.

I had all of mine out the day before Junior Prom. Yea, I didn't go. My cheeks exploded for a good week afterwards.

Oh, and make sure that you have painkillers standing by. If you don't, you'll be in a hell of a lot of pain like I was (hey, you learn). If you actually take the painkillers like you're supposed to, you'll probably be in the least amount of discomfort.

I been awhile since I got my wisdom teeth removed. It hurt for awhile though then I had to eat soft food like NSNick said. All I pretty much ate after the teeth were removed was ice cream and mashed potatoes.

I haven't removed them and won't remove them. Why? Because I can't. I never got them, and won't get them When I was eleven years old or something, the dentist found out exactly that. For once, I'm lucky.

Not only that, but I've never got holes, and never pulled a single tooth...

I haven't had to pull mine just yet, but they're starting to grow and one of them caused such an awful, awful pain that the dentist had to scrape tissue off the wisdom tooth so that it would be able to grow in peace. Of course, with the painkillers going through me, I couldn't keep my mouth from moving and once it wore off, I realized that I had managed to chomp the inside of my cheek pretty good, figuring that it was my teeth. I still can't explain how I managed to pull that off.

Depends. Sometimes people only get one/two done at a time, and sometimes all four of them come out.

I had mine done in May. It's not *that* bad but you'll be laid up for at least a couple of days. Take the drugs that they give you for at least the first 3-4 days, then take them only if you feel pain.

I think it depends on the dentist your going to. If you have a really talented one youll not have a bit of pain.

The one me and my sister went to made it really easy.

Then again my aunt went to a different one and she had trouble with hers for some time. More then 2 weeks if I remember.

I have mine coming in and a few days ago I was in pain because the bottom left was finishing coming in... still not all the way just yet but at least I don't have anymore pain on that side. My dentist is awesome. Seeing as I had to get some baby teeth pulledwhen I was younger to let my other teeth come in and it didn't hurt a bit. I don't need to get my wisdom teeth pulled unless they cause me problems my dentist already stated. Which I'm glad I'm not having any problems with them.
