| Garage sales is a good way to get rid of some crap that you don't need and get some money. Today, I went to one of them and sold a lot of crap which end up a grand total of $200. We could have gotten more money if it wasn't for the damn guy from the city removing ads for the garage sale. I only got a $50 share and have no idea what to spend it on. So, has anyone had a garage sale before. If yes, how much money did you make? |

| When we moved a few years back, we had a CRAPLOAD of things to give away, so we had a garage sale. I guess we did all right on it... we didn't need the money or anything but it wasn't a total waste of time either. :\ They sold a lot of my children's books though.  |

| I remember when I was really young that we had a garage sale and like no one showed up either. It was mainly baby things we didn't need anymore. So now we just give our stuff to Good Will that we don't need anymore. | |||

| One time, we had like a parking lot sale.. we lived in an apartment at the time, and we had a lot of things to sell. We made a little profit. Otherwise, we've never held an actual garage sale. Nowadays my mom just throws stuff out. She won't give anything to Good Will either because she says everything smells like cigarette smoke. Whenever I have something to sell, I just go on eBay. We had a garage sale once and got over 200 bucks. That was for selling our Sega Gensis with games..I so regret that  . I don't remember what we did with the momney. I think we bought a game  . We sold bunches of baby clothes, my old CD wallet and a few other things. |

| I hate garage sales. I only really remember one, it was about 5 years ago. But my brother decided to make me mad and sell EVERY SINGLE MOVIE I EVER HAD. Every disney movie I loved, everything.. gone. And so, I hate garage sales. |

That's so sad ..my dad in a way pushed us to sale our Sega because this was back when we got the new Playsation and he was like "well you guys don't play it much anymore so you guys should sell it" so we did  . I'm not going to listen to him again because I miss it .. |

| I believe my family only had one or two garage sales ever, we made some money off of the stuff but it was mostly so we could clear out the garage / attic, so we didn't mind hagglers. I'll never forget the day I saw someone selling a TurboGraphix-16 for $4 because there was no power cord, though =P |

| It was able to back then, but we can't anymore cause Japan is small -> No garage. IT SUX ALOT!!! I guess many people sell baby stuff. And, many people suffer no people coming to the sale... I keep my memories too..most of them  . I don't have too much left of what I had when I was younger besides school papers and you can't sale those . I should throw them away..becoming too stacked. I can be a pack rat and keep everything and then my dad throws them away or takes the stuff to the Goodwill. My mom is the one who thinks of the garage sale things. |
