Although this thread was made later than the one in Entertainment, this is a more appropriate location. And besides it was like 3 less button clicks.

Always measured in button clicks, huh Ziff?

Anyways, this one sucks. I always liked Jennings out of the "big 3" in the United States, plus he had the extra advantage of being Canadian; which actually worked against him early in his career since he'd pronounce words the Canadian way and confuse a lot of people. Bah.

Wow, this sucks. Shows you how much I watch the news. I just found out about myself because someone has mentioned it in a chatroom I was in. This actually has me quite surprised since I thought he was going to be around for a while longer. Out of all the news broadcasts, I think I watched his the most -- he was a good man.

I just heard about it when I was all set to watch Desperate Housewives and ABC put up a Special report about his death. He was a good guy.

Yeah, he's Canadian; he got his start here before going to ABC.

An interesting benefit of his Canadian citizenship was being able to use his native passport to get into Cuba to report for ABC.

It's a sad thing that he died and all, but he was a left-wing liberal like almost all of news nowadays. It's sickening, it truly is.

(I really don't want to get into a heated discussion of why liberalism is compeltely insane. I'll just mention things like so-called religious freedom, national healthcare, and welfare. Need I say more?)

You make it sound like you're happy he's dead. "It kinda sucks that he died, but I won't lose sleep because he's a liberal." It's the fucktards like you that have no respect for anybody, and even less on a sad occasion and would love to smear his name just to get attention. Go the fuck away.

Whoa, whoa whoa whoa! Calm down, big boy. I apologize for making it sound like it's not a sad thing. He was a great news reporter and everything. My grandparents really liked him. He was a good american and it's sad that he died. I just don't agree with his political standpoints.

Because I insulted liberalism, I know that some of the liberals here might retaliate. I'm just saying I don't want to get into a war and cause some chaos.

HE MUST HAVE DIED FROM LIBERAL CANCER!

how you feel about liberals has nothing to do with this topic, unless you're trying to make a point that a liberal's life is worth less than, say, a life of someone who views the world the same way you do? in which case, no one wants to hear about your hateful bull. shut up.

...Wow, unbelievable. When Reagan died earlier this year, it was another solumn occasion. But you didn't see me diss him because he was a conservative. Go hide in your little fantasy corner where you belong.
