Is there a way (other than asm - maybe hex editing?) to change the pallette and/or background of the no-yoshi castle intro? i want either a solid black background or a darker background, possibly with stars. i've scanned the levels and i guess you cant edit this intro screen in lunar magic unless i accidentally skipped over it. | |||

My program only repoints Layer 1. Castle entrances can have either a black background or a blue one. Which one to use seems to depend on the level number. Check in a original rom which level number the fortresses and castles in Vanilla Dome and Valley of Bowser had and move the level to one of those level numbers. |

thank you; problem solved! also, your program to change the level number of the intro levels is nice despite the fact that backgrounds dont work. i think i'll use it to alter the first castle intro. |
