| I've been trying to hack some of the skills/magic in FF5, but I'm having trouble figuring out how the magic spells work. I'm doing it in ASM, but it's hard because there's not much information on the subject. Can anyone give me a hand with some information? I can post the contents of the C2 bank (deals with combat skills and damage formulas) if anyone wants to see it to help. Thanks. |

| both SMRPG and FF3 use 'F0 xx xx xx' where the pairs of xx's are three random spells from which it chooses one to cast so I imagine FF5 would most likely follow the same routine check out this place: http://www.tenchinohoukai.greatnow.com/FF5.html actually, looking through that, it looks like FD xx xx xx is the 1 of 3 random spells function (edited by giangurgolo on 08-03-05 07:11 PM) |
