this program seem too old for XP,the setup just don't run I have already tried many replecement like Infran view but its always said 'this is not a VGA18 color PCX mode file  do someone know a progam that can do the job or a thing that will make the setup work or even the file the setup install |

Well, PSP 3.11 is the only one I know. The new PSPs won't do a Version 2 PCX and 3.11 works fine with XP, at least for me.  |

 , PSP 3.11 isn't a DOS program, this error happened to me, when I wanted to start PCX2OPT but my autoexec.nt was corrupt or something, then I got sick of reinstalling all things and formatted my drive. |

You don't have to format your drive, I formatted mine only, because I had a lot of windows errors.  Anyway, if PCX2OPT is working for you, I could convert the BGs you want to a Version 2 PCX file.  |

| The PSP 3.11 installer isn't a DOS program like PCX2OPT. It shouldn't matter about your autoexec.nt. It sounds as if Windows is treating it as a DOS program, which suggests to me that the installer file is corrupted. I ran it on my system without a hitch. |
