Well, if you look at each individual square (or each individual square portion) they are identical. I may just have to test this out on real life grid paper . |

| They're not quite identical. The hypotenuses of the blue and red triangles don't form a straight line, which the thick outer line helps to hide. In the first picture, they kind of bow inward, where in the second picture, they bow outward. | |||

| No, you don't move them at all, the second one is actually a quadrilateral instead of a triangle if you look at it, I've already given some people's proofs of it in that link if you checked. |
