Tropius, Absol, Swampert, Gardevoir, Lairon, Sableye (temp)

I like having a challenge, and these Pokemon are tough to beat the game with (Tropius has weakness against 6 things, Absol is mediocre, at best, Lairon is 4x weak against ground and fighting, etc). Pokemon that are cool looking, rather than top-notch. So, where can I get a good fire type?

Looking for a challenge? Theres a few options, since neither of the fire types are really that great. Torkoal has good defense, but thats about it. Camerupt and Magcargo have that unfortunate 4x weakness against water. Ninetails is an option, but doesn't exactly learn a lot of good moves. But if you are looking for cool-looking, this is likely your best option.

I´d choose Ninetails but you don´t always NEED a fire pokemon.

Blaziken?

Already chose Swampert. Besides; the part fighting is to weak against the plethora of Psychic types. I had a hard time taking down Liza and Tate. Absol got a lucky Crit hit Bite on a calm minded x4 Lunatone and brought in down in one shot.

Some people consider the likes of Articuno and Moltres to be UU, but I really don't think they are.

What about Entei, Suicune and Raikou? They´re OU too?

Suicune is ridiculously strong. Raikou is definetly not UU either... he's like a really good Manectric.
Not really sure about Entei.

Entei has an assload of atk but it isn´t strong defense-wise.

I think that Entei would be UU but I don´t know if anyone will use it.

They ARE underused by the very strictest of definitions, but... For all intents and purposes, all legends are no in UU.

I changed Gardevoir to another pokemon as I think it´s OU too.

So, is that list of UU pokemon accurate or did he miss any?

Edit: Oops, my mistake on the Gardevoir part.

Again, it's pretty accurate. There probably are one or two errors, but a quick check down the list didn't reveal any.

Okay, so we can´t use Gardevoir in our team, then.

I got a little confused as someone posted his team in here and it included Gardevoir.

Gardevoir certainly is not UU. The best Psychic-type you'll find in UU is probably Espeon. Though Jynx, Hypno, Grumpig, and Mr. Mime certainly have their uses.
