| My guess is that anime layouts has been a fad here. It's pretty hard to try to stop a fad. But I do find it annoying sometimes to read and block it too including yours BGNG. | |||

Another reason everyone should use extended post table styles. The link is right there  That might be an interesting thing to add into all post table layouts for the next build. I'll think about that  |

| Anime layouts and any other highly stylised layout is in fact a big, colourful distraction from the vacuous nature of many people's posts. For example, and this is a petty example so bear with me, Knuck's lazy reference to BGNG's blatant hypocrisy is glossed over by all the iconography in her post that shows she is a big Knuckles fan. | I don't know if it's something somebody "came up with first", it was probably just that somebody was an anime fan and put an anime pic in their layout, and other people who are anime fans have done likewise. We have lots of videogame related post layouts too, and other cartoons and stuff... *shrugs* doesn't really bother me. Reminds me that I should make a new layout though, this one's been around for a while, and I've drawn more pictures of Tarale since that I could use... |

| Actually, it's just a way to keep the DIV inside of something. I think that was based off one of my more earlier layouts that Kawa took that many other people took years ago. The rest is pretty much history. FYI, most of those layouts have been around for a long time now. Kitten Yiffer (Priere's Slave) would be an example. |

| If I recall, the one Ranma layout I had (supposed version 5) exercised that layout. I'd have to ask YD. I think she has some of my older layout code. But that based it off that with stats on the side and a pic in the background that was darkened. I might just have link to older ones... [digs] Linkie.
