Yeah, I have homework too ..definately not too much like High School now but there are some similarities . I remember for the first week of High School we didn't have homework just to get those syllabus thingys signed. We didn't get a home room type class until about Sophmore year and they said it wasn't but everyone hated that class. It was the sleep/homework class with not much participation where you're supposed to get the school information about types of things that were going on. Isn't that like homeroom? Probably is..just not the same name

We get Minor infractions when we don't do our homework....Which really, really, gets annoying, because most of the time, I never have my homework.

Yeah, hearing te speech 7 times or more gets on your nerves. Also, they make us read the stupid student handbook which is the same thing as in the same dress code and other rules in every update. I even put "No one reads the Student Handbook" in pen when I got it today.

We have that too..... I wrote the bio in the back for fun. It's retarded for them to put in the rules "False fire alarm, Bomb threat." I don't think a thirteen year old kid wants to destroy the school. But I think about it. XD

I can see someone pulling a false fire alarm..not sure of the bomb threat . I think they use the bomb threat rules for any other type of emergency like if someone has guns.."GET UNDER YOUR DESK!!"

em, we have fake bomb threats all the time. Its nothing special at our school.

Kids just do it to get out of class, it takes the police around 40 minutes to get there so it can be as much as 3 hours before there done and we get back in.

Oh look at that half the days done.....Happens all the time

Yeah, hoemwork already..I thought college was always like that? One introductory day then straight to the material? I had my lazy day already..done with day 2..homework but no books yet..maybe I wont need to worry with the first few chapters of Intermmediate Algerbra but eh..good for review. I hope I get a book before the first quiz

We never had any bomb threats at my school, although people would occasionally set fire to trash cans, making the whole school have to stand outside in the freezing cold for 15 minutes for the fire drill.

I have to wait and see how it´ll be for me.

No bomb threats here either. My oold school got hacked by someone called "Cybercop" or that´s what I heard. Teachers ran everywhere.

Just bomb threats? Kids get more creative around here I guess. There are threats of every kind so often that our school basically pulls all the troublemakers out of class (there's like a group of kids that pull this crap every day) and threaten with suspensions or expulsions until they fess up. We also have a problem with fire alarms.. they're pulled about every other day. If our school is being inspected or we have important visitors, they actually turn the fire alarms OFF because they're never actual fires.
It's so annoying, people need to grow up.

I poured salt in my teachers coffee once but I didn´t know that they´d have important visitors.

Well, we have random drug searches about every 2 weeks or so. The schools goes under lockdown for about an hour or so.

You'd think people learn to stop bringing it to school.

Haha, I thought my school was bad. They don't take the same precautions. We've never had lockdowns, we just had problems with fights and some girl got stabbed in the leg and we didn't know until the end of the day I think that was MS though..Peole got shot down the street..I think that was after school though. Erm, shot at..the only bad fight I saw was when this guy was beating this other guy with a lock. This other time there was a helicopter over us after school and lots of cops came..I don't have any idea what happened either....I forgot

We have random drug testing. You can be called out of class at any time, any day, and submit to a drug test by urine sample. It's pretty effective, I guess.
But what to do about the morons that put rum in water bottles and bring cigarettes to smoke between classes... I dunno.

Yup, bad kids and their drugs

They don't test for drugs at my school..erm last HS. I know people who did that stuff on campus, selling, etc. The rum thing would be hard to stop. It's not like you can check every person with a water bottle and expect there to be something besides water in every one.

You all have bad schools. We don't need drug testing, and we never get any threats...

Oh, wait, I do remember last November someone wrote a threat on a bathroom wall. It made the news, and cops occupied the school all day. Nothing happened though. Might have been because of all the attention it recieved, but I think whoever wrote it didn't intend on doing anything in the first place.

Aside from boring lectures and drug tests at my school for the past two days, it's boring. I have no one to talk to at Lunch making lunch go by slowly. This is going to be a long year.

Mwhaha, that sounds like my breaks between classes so I go to the library . I've never done that before. I'm going to need my CD player at least until I meet some people.

I go searching for people I might know..and I've found some but the other day was only beacuse she got to school extremely late and decided not to go to class . A few others too but things are okay.

My math teacher has a bad accent thar reminds me of Angie's Dad off of The George Lopez show with the expressions and all

My math teacher in freshmen year was a spitting image of the actor Matthew McGonahey (sp?), accent and all. It was crazy.
However, he was a horrible teacher.

My math teachers is just..no..you have to pay close attention to understand him. I should be able to get used to it soon and stop getting that picture out of my head, comparing him to that actor ..and lauging about it

We´ve had fights at our old school but it was nothing we couldn´t take care of.

It don´t think it´s fun to beat people with other things than my own fists.
