It seems like the dog took all the quills from the porcupine in the face and body.

No, quills are not missile weapons. The dog must of physicly attacked it, several time by the look of it.

If they took the time to take picture, and not get it to a vet, it's probobly dead.

Good job reading the story. It said they took him to the vet and they removed some quills, but most will come out naturally in time. The dog is fine.

To be honest, I didn't care about the story, so I did the natural thing, I didn't read it. Good job being disliked by alot of people here.

And you're posting here why now?

At least I know that you can fit a barrage of porcupine needles on a dog's face now...owch.

Holy darn!
That is a little like that Homeward Bound movie, except if Michael J. Fox's dog ran into a larger porcupine.
Really larger.

I think maybe he thought he could outlast all of it's quills, that way it would have no defense. Either way, that's one tough bastard.

Porcupines are also very easily handled and aren't too scared of it.

They've got soft underbellies, and if they're used to human contact...They LOVE to have the part where the quills start above the face pet.

HOW are they easily handled? Unless you hold them upside down by their bellies, I can't imagine how they wouldn't poke you.

They're one of those animals that you let come to you and don't move fast. That's all I'm saying. That and wear leather work gloves. If they don't get worried, they're not a danger
