Is there an SMAS editor? There's an editor for the individual games (smb2j?)
Is there a way to combine the best of these editors into smas style. I've looked into the hex
and the data is fairly the same for nes and snes style. I can go into the hex and edit it like that but it's a pain in the ass, plus I want other people to make their own games. I'm trying to feature smb the lost levels 2 for smb1, smb2c for smb2, and Mario Adventure for smb3. I'll totally remake smbll myself (Finished maybe in '06).
Anyways... An early suggestion for if the editor ever does come out is to load all game data from the nes rom to each for the snes portion in smas. (except gfx) That is the major reason why I want this editor, for the enhanced graphics and for smbll. The game loader would be nice for those greatly hacked games like Mario Adventure, hence why it takes so long for me to finish this crap!

I hope someone can help me.

I hope someone can't, because that will render my SMW hacks useless.

Note: There is no way you could put Mario Adventure on SMAS SMB3 by simply moving over levels. It would take an extreme amount of work to move all the code and leves around and isn't really feasible.

I know all about that, I enjoyed your hack so much that I want to feature it in smas for the enhanced graphics and music. I've started by going into the raw hex and finding what you've done, but this is no fun task.
Besides, I said game DATA not LEVELS. I know you made a substantal amount of work for a game good enough to exist as a real cartridge game.
What I suggested was to move all smb3 data to the smb3 portion in smas. That way it could cover everything you enhanced. Quit being so good at stuff

By the way, I enjoyed your Warkitu, could you please make an ips so it can go on smb3. That would be nice. Or could you mention the offset(s) you changed to make this. I would go in myself and do it. Any help you can give I would enjoy!

Code/data from game A cannot be copy/pasted to game B -- despite how similar the games may seem. This is doubly true when game A and B are for different platforms. (there are rare exceptions to this -- but I won't get into that)

DD's hack involved a lot of engine code changes -- that kind of thing isn't something you can just move from one game to another. You'd basically have to 're-hack' SMAS in the same manner which SMB3 was hacked. Which, needless to say, is a fairly large project and takes quite of bit of knowledge in the area.
