| As of 7:00 AM, EST on Tuesday, I will be on a plane to Arizona, awaiting to be deep fried by the desert sun. Some call it vacation to see the family. I call it "Exercises in Fast Food Management: As told by the French Fries". ...I'll be surprised if that makes any sense in the morning... Long story short, I should be back in about a week. Best case scenario: I'll be stuck in 56k land for a week with a few armadillos. Worst case scenario: No internet, no armadillos. Wish me luck. |

I hear it's about 105 degrees on average around there this time of year. HAVE FUN!  Whatever you do.. the grand canyon will not cool you off if you jump in. Just a word of advice.  |

Isn't the Hoover Dam in Nevada?  I've never heard of any other Death Valley, any other hot spots in the states are just called deserts. I think. But I'm willing to bet it's hotter in Arizona than it is in California, so Jarukoth may as well wish he were in Death Valley. |

| try living here. And yeah, the dam does 'bridge' Nevada and Arizona... one of the things I remember most is the fact that the two intake towers each have a clock with that state's time on it, with the state name under it. I've actually been inside the thing, it's pretty nifty. |

| Xk, you live in Henderson? I've been there a few times, it's fricken hot. Ah, the Hoover Dam is right on the border.. that's good to know. I've never been there. Maybe Jarukoth will be close enough to it to check it out, I heard it's cool to see it on the tour-thingy they have. |
