ff3ed-2 does NOT work. It sends an error report immediately after I load the ROM (and it says the error report is the program itself, not the ROM). Where is another text editor? | |||

That's about it, dude. You can do it the 'hard' way and edit text using a table file and a hex editor. http://www.zophar.net/utilities/hexutil.html Choose one with table file support, I use none of these, so suggestions will have to come from someone else. Table files can be found here: http://www.snakeyes.org/tbl/ I've had problems with a few of their table files in the past, and had to make my own. If you have to make one yourself, don't fret, it's not all that hard. You could have replied in your other FFVI thread though instead of making a new one. |

If you are just going to be editing text, I suggest Translhextion (yes, that's how it's spelled). It is very good for making tbls and finding text. This is probably your best bet considering the situation (in my opinion, of course) |
