It shows a real bill, but says "not the same bill as in the picture". Plus, you pay like 8 bucks for shipping and insurance. (Insurance for a 2-dollar bill? )

Why go all the way to the bank when you can have the $2 bill shipped right to your door from eBay?

It's hard to decide whether the person selling a $2 bill on ebay is the stupid one, or if the person buying it is.
Ebay shouldn't allow some of the things on there, honestly.

Well, some people *are* collectors and are willing to spend $8-10 for a bill they don't have in their collection. :\

The idiots are those who think that they can get a two-dollar bill straight-up for a quarter or something like that. They fail to grasp the concept of economics, to say nothing about postal mail.

You could go to ANY bank, and I'm sure a few other places, and get a $2 bill for ...$2!! I just don't get the logic. Why ebay for something like that?

It's the TYPE of bill, at least from a collecting standpoint.

For other people, however... it's a nice lesson into how the real world works. A penny != two dollars.

You're really losing 6$ due to shipping........I find it stupied to pay money for money. I mean c'mon, who's that stuiped? Well, some people sale for different country coins though. Shipping plays a very deadly role.

We've already ESTABLISHED that point. Like I said, the only people who would be interested in this are coin/bill collectors who want said bill. That's perfectly understandable.

Best bet would be to try go for a bulk order (some multi coin/bill auction) and save on the shipping if you're trying to expand your collection.

I don't know about the US, but as far as I know, you can't just go to the bank here in Canada and exchange your money for a 2 dollar bill. I would like an american one tho...that would be awesome!

The only canadian bills I collect are Radar Bills (they are the ones with serial numbers that are palindromes) and anything that is old.

For example I have a 5 dollar bill with serial number: AMA3075703 (see how the numbers part is the same forward and backwards. That is rare. It happens once in every 500 or 1000 bills, can't remember. Also notice the letters how they can be read backwards. I wonder if this bill is worth even more because of the letters).

I collect money by the way.

I have a $2 bill, I've had it for a very long time just for keepsake, and I got it by going to the closest bank and.. asking them.
But I'm sure a lot of banks don't have money out like that. I don't remember which bank I went to.

Crisp, UNCIRCULATED 2 dollar bills. That makes it so much more valuable than the circulated ones that anyone can find in a cash register, right?
