Well it is official! I have released Version 1.0 of the editor. As far as my knowledge there is no bugs. The current Version edits all levels and Palette's. I may do a enemy editor someday, I really don't know.

It's a side scrolling game. I never played it either, that's what I heard.

Good job MegaDog on the editor. Something we much needed. I will be trying this out soon. Just after work.

It looks a fine editor, but maybe you could create a lite version of the editor, without the installer and DLLs? I have bad experiences with installers overwriting my DLLs with older versions.

It's good that you moved on from making DOS editors.

It will ask to keep the old ones.

And yes I know I finaly moved over to Windows...and I do have plans for a few other editors this year!

Installers for ROM hacking utilities just seems .... wrong to me. Oh well. I installed it, and it actually doesn't run too bad. I like the effect when you scroll from screen to screen. Whether it was intentional or not, I don't know. Hopefully, we will see some Astynax hacks, as the game seems to be one of those good, overlooked NES games.

Just one question though, how do I exit the about dialog? There isn't any buttons to do so.

Just wait for the wav to stop playing it is like 5 or 7 seconds long...

And the scrolling was not really planned...it was just how slow the NES GFX load hehehe...but I thought it was cool though!

This editor looks great! Astyanax has gone far too long without one. By the way, is that axe graphic on the thread list new?

Well it was bult for the US version. Maybe in a newer version I may fix that and also fix the save bug with no rom loaded which has recently been found...besides that US roms will work...or atleast the one I used.

I think the installer was too much as well. I package them just so when they open it all the dlls needed are in it. There is a wat to package it without all those files.

I did try it out and it works good.
