Ok, here's the deal: My brother wants to hack FF3 (A.K.A: FF6) and remove all the evil things out of it, while I want to edit CT into a different game, story, etc. So, what programs do we use for each game? I want to edit CTs levels and everything, while my brother just wants to remove some sprites (and replace them with different things). Thanks in advance! |

There is the temporal flux that can edit CT. You should get it. Some people like xZeaLitYx is working on the 2.0 and other people too. You can get it here http://geigercount.net/crypt/tf107.zip or http://www.chronocompendium.com/wiki/index.php?title=Modification

Yup, be sure to check tutorials too. I've got one up and one that is almost complete for adding new areas. They should get you introduced well.

Originally posted by Super Slash Check out FF3usME, it's quite capable of editing the game to make a more complete hack. It doesn't have sprite editing capabilities though. |

Originally posted by Super Slash Well, if you're just editing sprites as you mentioned above, almost all the graphics are uncompressed, so they can easily be changed with any tile editor. |

Thanks! Can I take out all of those demonic bosses (for us Christians, at least) such as Chadarnook?

Remove him, and replace him with a new boss.

Originally posted by Super Slash Well, then that's just basically changing the graphics if I understand right, unless you're making the boss appear at a different point in the game. I know what you're saying about a "Christian" view of the bosses; in light of recent events it's kind of shocking to know that Square was originally going to use a "Jihad" Esper instead of Crusader. |
