| Well, since my dad's a truck driver and all, I thought I'd spend about maybe a fourth of the summer with him on the road. So far, I've been to Vegas where I met my EXTREMELY rich cousins, my godlike great uncle Joe McGee, and cruised the strip with FREE dinner at the Oceanic, an awesome show at the Rio, PLUS I got to dance with a GORGEOUS chick on stilts. It ruled! Next, I went to Denver with him to see a friend that was diagnosed with brain cancer. We chatted with her a while before surgery and then ate lunch with her family and just talked for awhile. I ended up going back to the truck and playing video games and sleeping a majority of the time. While trucking, I've seen some of the coolest things I've ever seen. The crystal-clear Colorado River, tons of mountains, and some kickass beautiful canyons in Arizona. I hope to catch a lightning storm in the desert this time around. I'm going to LA with him starting tomorrow ^^ |

| Oh, man, that sounds great. Road trips kick butt, but you're doing all kinds of cool stuff at your stops! I witnessed lightning storms in the desert, last time I was on a trip. Actually, that was the only weather there was - rain and lightning. It got kind of depressing after a while. Not to mention scary. Still, it'd be cool to see at least once....if it doesn't last. I hope you brought a camera for all of this. |

Ahh... Road trips... I have one "planned" for next week. I just gotta hope everything goes well so I can go. Kickass though, sounds like you and your dad are getting to "bond" more.  |

Yeah, I'm supposed to go on one with my dad in a few weeks. Unfortunately, a road trip with my dad means driving partially-drunk, blaring country music and occasionally stopping to kick and swear at the truck when it overheats or breaks down.  Though I think this time he's driving a Lincoln instead of his pickup, be interesting to see if he's willing to beat that up.  This genius insists on buying Ford because when it breaks down, he can easily get replacement parts. Never gives a thought to buying something he won't need parts for... |

| I am on my second ford car and I have never had trouble with any of them. The only reason I got rid of the first one was because somone hit me from behind at 50 mph and pushed me into two other cars, so the frame bent and had to get a new one. | |||

| Man, your lucky that you get to go places with your dad. I hardly get to go anywhere during the summer. I like to see places instead of being stuck in one place for a long time. |
