What're you talking about? The level-design is cool (except the 2nd Screenie)! It's the PALETTES that disgust me. But then again, I'm not a real fan of the color red...

Keep it up, pal. (I refuse to play Demos, so I will review your hack after it has been completely finished, unless I am hired as a Beta Tester.)

It looks prettty good, but in honesty, you should dop the red colouring and go for somethign else, or at least add something to balance it out. *orders new set of eyes*

Here is what you should do if you want to make a red Mario Bros.

USE MORE SHADES OF RED!

Sort of like what I did with Metroid, but only blue...

I used way more shades of blue that makes it look sort of like a SNES game.

Use purples, browns, golds, greens, anything that shades well together with the reds. You may want to go out on a limb and create a custom pallete

I agree, they do but at least it's a bit more challenging. Put some more effort in the levels which includes the doomship.

I faked the gray ones. they were originally the light blue set but changed to look more like the SM doors. Ill make a grey palette and work the blue palettes some more so they fit right.

But i might experiment a little bit with Custom Palettes so I am not limited.
