Hello friends... Two updated hacks on my homepage. SUPER MARIO MCB V4.1 is a graphic hack of Super Mario Bros. for the Famicom/ NES. The original game could look better - I knew this since I was a kid - and thanks to emulation I could confirm my theory. No new stages, no new songs, just a new look for the classic game. NEW FEATURES IN VERSION 4.1: New colors for Luigi! The game wasn't compatible with some of the newer and better NES emulators but now this problem is fixed. There are also new visual changes, like the new Hammer Bros. ripped from SMB 3 and a brand new title screen.  WRECKING CREW MCB is a graphics-only hack of 1985's Wrecking Crew for the NES. It's a simple but fun puzzle game featuring Mario, Luigi and a new cast of enemies. Just one action button, no jumps... Not your tyipical Mario action game. Back in 2000 I tried to improve the gaphics of this nice game. It has a very "first generation of NES games" look and my neverending ambition made me redraw almost anything in the game. I'm particularly proud of the 8x8 font and the Mario sprite I created. NEW FEATURES IN VERSION 1.1: Palettes, sprites and title screen adjustments. | The font you made for SMB1 sucks. You have no idea how to antialias properly. Most of the letters look like crap when viewed from far away. And why don't you just make an IPS patch? That way people could download it and you could give out your hompeage. |

| I could answer using the same violent language you did, Mr. Angry Boy in Puberty, but I prefer to stay calm. You have the right to hate my work, but talk about it like polite people. I changed that font - the same used on SMB3 - to give a more detailed look to it. I don't care if it's not right. I like it and some other people even ripped it into their hacks. And before say that I have no idea about how to antialias properly, give a look at the font I created for Wrecking Crew.... Just because I can do the right work, doesn't mean I HAVE TO do it all the time... I can draw a realistic human being, but if I draw an yellow and ugly Homer Simpson I'm not less talented. That's it. | That font in Super Mario MCB is awesome. I see a couple minor out of place pixels, but hell, it's awesome still. Wrecking crew is a fun game too. |
