That's pretty ugly looking.  I wouldn't want my neighbor to have that up, either. It's not even yellow. Who cares if the name of his street is Bluebird. He could have put an actual bluebird and it probably would have looked nicer.  |

Actually, I've seen some clips of Sesame Street episodes from other countries... Big Bird (or his equivalent) isn't always yellow.  I think I saw a weird green/red variation once. |

| Yeah. I remember one day turning it to the Spanish channel and being whisked away to a parallel universe of Sesame Street. They don't simply dub the voices like other shows, they completely redo the whole thing when porting it to other countries. I think the blue Big Bird is Dutch. | Furthermore, Snuffleupagus cannot exist without Big Bird: he's Big Bird's imaginary friend. Only Big Bird can see him. Correction (pasted from IMDb): Originally, the character of Snuffleupagus only ever interacted with Big Bird. He'd always come and go when no one else was around, and consequently no one ever believed Big Bird when he told them of his existence. The producers decided to reveal him to the other characters partially because they felt it was sending a bad message to children that adults will not believe them if they have something important to tell them.
