OK... You have a hack that's potentially good, but ugly. You know it's ugly... how can you make it better? Think on that for a while, and maybe your hack will end up looking better.

It's not bad - beats mine by A LOT - like what you did with Forest of Illusion overworld - don't really like the special road, looks ugly, but the rest is pretty nice. Keep this up and revise a bit and it could become a good hack

For such an ugly hack, I only saw a couple of simple things to fix, and *Yay!* no palette problems.

Comments:

1. looks good, nothing wrong here.

2. you may want to move the left sumo brother, look at his fire

3. Looks good, but you may want to add a few enemies or obstacles.

4. Pretty good, but the top of the small hill-thing at the edge of soda lake is not the same colour as the bottom.

5. No difference here from the original SMW, you may want to change it a bit.

6. Looks good, but what happens when you don't have a cape?

7. looks interesting, but where the ground ends under the concrete blocks, you could add a non-solid right edge object.

8. Pretty good, but what is the garbled yellow thing?

9. Neat, but the link between the two platforms isn't the greatest.

10. good, but again, if you don't have a cape in that area you don't have a chance.

11.good, but a little repetitive.

12. Nice, It the yellow rectangle in fact a replacement for the yoshi coin?

13. Looks good, but you might want to remove the yellow pipe to make it a challenge.

14. Good, but I can still see the original level "Awsome". You may want to change it a bit more.

15. Fairly good, but what's with the garbage tiles? north of the top path?

16. Good, but please raise your ground up a tile, no-one can see it when it's that low.

Overall, I think this is actually pretty good in spite of it's "ugliness". I'm going to try this one.

Most of the screens with all the clouds in the back look very, very, messy. The second set of screens don't really look surprising to me (mainly those yellow block level things...) I don't find nothing dramatically wrong though.

Try using some ExGFX. It'll look much better.

ExGFX Workshop
http://php4you.irth.net/exgfx/index.php

Or you could try changing the palettes.
It gets very different just by that.

Well, some objects are placed too much such as the clouds in the BG, berries etc.
The levels is up to you, but I don't like it being crouwded that much.

Keep it up!

If you can't enter a page that says "ExGFX workshop",
try copying the address here and pasting it into the address bar and pressing enter.
http://hp4you.irth.net/exgfx/index.php

The very left is the download link. It lets you download the file.
The next is the name. It shows the name, which is also the description.
The next is the author.
The next and next is the pallete and type info.
The next is the 8x8 pic preview. it lets you see what is included.
The next is the 16x16pic preview. it shows the tiles you can make with the ExGFX file included.
The next is the number of downloads. The bigger the number the more people downloaded the file.

That's about all.
And how to use ExGFX is in the "stickiy" threads, so please look before you ask a question about it.

The file is "Compressed". It is in a format that is good for putting files on to the internet(it saves memory).

OK, first look at the file you have downloaded. Is it a folder with a zipper on it?
If it is, double-click the file. You can open it. Then, drag the contents out somewhere(your desltop, folder, etc.).

(If it isn't a zipper-folder, then google WinZIP.)

Now you have successfully got the ExGFX file out.
Then, you have to change the name to "ExGFX**.bin"(where**is 80toFFF).
Now it is ready for use in Lunar Magic.

Then the help files and stickies will help you
Good luck!

Ummmmmmmmmmmmmmm.........

At least you are trying.

Just put some EXgfx in it, and make sure you use good pallets.
