So which is it? I only read some, but I wish that Hotmail would come out with a forward blocker or something. Its horrible! Some forwards don't even have anything in them but .TXT attachements that don't even work.

Its horrible that we could take something as powerful as the Internet and degrade it with our pointless messages and chain letters! Stop the madness!

I don't read emails in general... only from a few people. The others I just delete, forwards or not.
So, that's a big no.

I read them if they are from a friend. Well, I at least open them. If im in a really pissy mood, and the forward was a chain letter, I attach a text file that says "FUCK" like 20,000 times and send it back to everyone who has received that letter...I love the copy/paste button.

But if they are from people I don't know, then I just delete them. Most are chain letters anyway.

I haven't gotten any since waayyyy back in the time when I used AOL e-mail. I used to forward them when I was like, 10. I'd make some too. Start an e-mail with an all black background and make some design so when you'd scroll down it'd look cool. Oh boy!!

..yeah. So. I don't read them, I don't get them, hooray for me.

Unless I otherwise requested something to be forwarded, it gets nuked the first instance I see FWD: as a prefix in a title.

Seeing something that looks like...

FWD: RE: RE: FWD: FWD: FWD: RE: RE: FWD: FWD: FWD: RE: RE: FWD: FWD: FWD: RE: RE: FWD: FWD: FWD: RE: RE: FWD: FWD: FWD: RE: RE: FWD: FWD: FWD: RE: RE: FWD: FWD: FWD: RE: RE: FWD: FWD: FWD: RE: RE: FWD: FWD: FWD: RE: RE: FWD: FWD: FWD: RE: RE: FWD: FWD: FWD: RE: RE: FWD: FWD: FWD: RE: RE: FWD: FWD: FWD: RE: RE: FWD: FWD: FWD: RE: RE: FWD: FWD: FWD: RE: RE: FWD: FWD: FWD: RE: RE: FWD: FWD: FWD: RE: RE: FWD: FWD: FWD: RE: RE: FWD: FWD: FWD: RE: RE: FWD: FWD: FWD: RE: RE: FWD: FWD: FWD: RE: RE: FWD: FWD: FWD: RE: RE: FWD: FWD: FWD: RE: RE: FWD: FWD: FWD: RE: RE: FWD: FWD: FWD: RE: RE: FWD: FWD: FWD: RE: RE: FWD: FWD: FWD: RE: RE: FWD: FWD: FWD: RE: RE: FWD: FWD:

My parents always send me these crappy stories about how someone almost died and realizes how special life is, blah blah wake me when it's over. I'm strongly considering just piping anything that starts with 'Fw:' to the trash.

Considering that I don't get many emails to begin with, pretty much anything with "Fwd:" or similar in the subject line gets deleted, after quickly scanning the line to see just what it is (I find it funny to take a look at what sort of things of that sort I get, before deleting them).

Pretty much the same thing happens with "Re:" unless it's from someone I know I sent an email to in the past

Edit: For the record, I voted "NO! Forwards are evil!" although I think they're more annoying to deal with than anything else.

I hate them... gah! This is just so annoying. You will send them to your friends and then they send them to their friends, then the odds of you recieving the same exact thing is high, since their friends could be your friends.

They stink. I hate 'em.

And no, I don't reply or open them. No need to.

The only Fowards e-mails that I hate are chain letters. Yeah, I don't believe if I didn't send this to 10 different people in 15 minutes, I would be cursed. That's bull. One of my friends send me this chain letter while I was out of town on Sunday and didn't read it until about 2 hours later after it was sent so I'm considered "curse". Yeah, right.

Has anyone who has yahoo has gotten that foward message about that they're deleting accounts and you had to foward that message to 20 different people?

Depends on if I know who sent me the foward...

Otherwise it goes straight to the deleted items bin

But I never foward anything I get... Pointless chain letter
